Whispers

This dark shadow,
that blocks the light.
This dark veil,
the shields the night.

My emotions a drape,
that hides my soul.
My dark deep thoughts,
stay un-told.

The tear that streaks,
down my face.
All alone,
crying in this dark place.

Must you lie,
in whispers in my ear?
I want to die,
as I sit here.
