Whisper My Shadow

Malice in my veins,
I want this hatred to go away,
You got me into this mess,
And you will get me out today.
Drowned in my pity,
A remainder of the dead,
I cannot escape this mistake,
For the walls are soaked in red.

Though I cannot see you,
I know that you are here,
Cloaked in the darkness,
Your presence I always fear.
Sheltered by your ego,
The angel banned from hell,
Be silent for a moment,
I've got a story to tell:

It was you that told me,
To complete the evil deed,
I just wanted you to help me,
For my soul to just be freed.
You twisted round my words,
Told such a cunning lie,
That those innocent people,
Had the right to die.

I don't know why I did it,
But I followed orders from you,
And those innocent people,
Died because of you.
Crimson pool of torture,
Bodies on the floor,
A mind of such a genius,
But no sanity anymore.

I can sense you coming back to me,
Help me guide me through,
Please give me your direction,
Tell me what to do.
No longer cloaked in darkness,
You've taken off your mask,
Please whisper my shadow,
Tell me our next task.
