Which Is Your Way?

In the planning to go on your vacation, for sure you take into consideration which road to take, which is the shortest route, or the safest one. I also know that you are taking in consideration the method you are going to use. Do you want to go by (your own) car; do you want to take the bus, or the plane? I am sure that no matter where are you planning to go, you will take time to think about every single detail, so everything is perfect. Moreover, you are doing that because you care for your own life and for the lives of your family members.

However, I want to talk about another way and another method in this article. Jesus said, in John 14 verse 6: "I am the way..." Spiritually speaking, every single man has a way; some just don't know that yet. Those who are not reconciled with God, I am telling you right now, that Jesus is the way to God. Jesus is the way to the heaven. There is no other man, nobody else that can claim that. Only Jesus clearly did when He said: "I am the way".

People believe in priests, others in good deeds, others in fate, others think that the goodness of God will take them there. Well, nothing and nobody else will, but Jesus. Don't put your trust in a priest; he can’t take you to God. Neither can your good deeds. Only Jesus can. Without Him, everything is in vain. You can move into any church, and really sleep there and confess your sin every day, 20 times a day – it is useless. You can sell everything you have and give it to the poor and orphanages – it equals zero, because everything outside Jesus is dead. If you personally are outside Jesus, you are dead. How can a dead man do something for a living God?!

Even those whose lives were changed by Jesus and who testify Jesus without any shame need to know that only Jesus is the way. Every true believer must learn this lesson at least once - that is: that the Lord Jesus is the way, the Lord Jesus is the method. The way that every Christian has to walk every single day is Christ himself. The method to walk is Christ himself. Some Christians are seeking for some spiritual methods or spiritual ways. Don't seek for them anymore - they just won't work. "A way" or "a method" it is not enough. You need "the way" and "the method''.

Every spiritual thing outside of Christ is dead. Let us underscore this well. Some Christians seem to charge God with impartiality when they see that their prayers aren't being listened to, while others prayers are. They just don't realize that what they believe is but a thing and therefore dead. Neither formula nor method works; only Christ is living. Even if one has learned a whole set of methods, he is not therefore educated to be a Christian, because God's children must be born, not taught.

You, the reader, might think that you have your own way to live, or to lead your life, or to lead your family. Or, you might think you have another way to save yourself. Any other way or method outside Jesus is dead. Maybe you think that you want to live like a well known missionary did, and this will bring you victory. Listening to how he saves others will not help us. Our trusting in the Lord is effectual. The Lord Jesus is the Lord of life. Whoever touches Him touches the life. Touching the Lord alone gives life.

I said before that everybody has a way; some just don't know it yet. If you are one of those that didn't know it yet, you most likely are on the wrong way. Remember: Jesus is the way. Do you want to go to heaven? Only Jesus can take you there. Do you want to live a life in which God finds pleasure? Only Jesus can teach you how. Jesus is not a way. Jesus is the way and He is the method. Everything outside Him is dead. Everything.
