Which Father?
I'm going through a rough patch with religion...I have very high opinions and my parents and even some friends are pressuring me to Christianity but it is just not me...!
Her heart leaps for the light
Yet she knows she deserves it not.
Her soul weeps for the darkness
The hurt she came to love.
Her arms outstretched for the father
But which one is right?
The one that demands everything from her
Strip her of her rights; strip her of her unique life?
Or the one demands nothing
But of her hand in pain
A life of longing, hurt, and sorrow
But she'll be unique; she can have her own mind
But everything has a price
Each father wants a soul
Just another life
To add to their collection
She means nothing to them
So why should she have to choose?
She can be her own damn father she doesn't need you!
She doesn't need someone to tell her how to spend
The rest of her life!
