Where Do You Ask for Guidance?

Any time when you need guidance, go straight to God; He will answer and He will support you all the way regardless of how difficult the situation might appear in your eyes, He is faithful, experiment it for yourself.
When you need a doctor, you know where to go. If you need a car you also know where to look for one. However, there are important and rather difficult situations in life where doctors or money cannot change anything.

Where can we go in those situations when no human can help? It is usually in such situations when we cry for help from God. Somehow we have got used to the idea that we have to try everything at hand before we ask God to intervene; we come to Him as to the last resort.

Why would we run to God? See what the Bible says about this in the book of Job:

"But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He bestows rain on the earth; He sends water upon the countryside.

The lowly He sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.
He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success.

He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night.

He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; He saves them from the clutches of the powerful.

So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.

Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

For He wounds, but He also binds up; He injures, but His hands also heal.

From six calamities He will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you.

In famine He will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword.

You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes.

You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth.

For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you.

You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing.

You will know that your children will be many, and your descendants like the grass of the earth.

You will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season.

"We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself." Job 5: 8-27

Yes, we need to ask God for help and we should also do that not only as the ultimate resort but to rediscover that relationship He has in store for us. It is awesome to know that you are the daughter or son of The King!

Yes, in His Son, in Jesus Christ, God made us His children. That means we can have all the advantages that go with that! All the responsibility too!

It is not easy to be a prince, especially when your kingdom is not of this world, because the human eyes are so tempted to gather what they see here instead of gathering riches in Heaven where there are no predators or other calamities to destroy them.
It is clear however that the most influential figure in history, Jesus Christ, was not focused on material things, His goal was to do whatever God told Him to complete and accomplish the purpose He was sent for.

Because God sees the whole history and sees your life, He is the best mentor you’ll ever have, no one can advice you better. Have you ever tried talking to God the way you would talk to a friend, simply pouring your heart to Him? I have, many people have and God truly answers prayers! Yes, He does, sometimes not the way we want or the way we might see things as right but one thing is for certain: He will give you the most advantageous answer. He has all the power, all the love and all the wisdom so you shouldn’t worry, He has your situation under control and all you will ever need is in His Hands! Be encouraged to talk to Him, ask for BIG things, He is Almighty!
