When We Are Apart

This is a love poem Written by Lesiba Mabukela.
When we are apart.
When thou art thousands miles away.
Thinkin' tranquility too tense.
Murmuring thy name and words of love,
Speaking so silently sorrowfully,
As I lay in a serene night.
Tears that flooded my eyes,
As I cry intensely for thee.
Earth's rhythm accompanyin' my soul.
Whirlwinds whistling within wallflowers
And their petals flyin' into the air'
Fillin' surroundings with sweet scent.
As I recall sweet moments we had.
Thy serene smile, angelic eyes and sotto voce.
Thy magical touch and warmth.
Yet seemed to be faded, gone!
Nevertheless my heart contains love for thee,
Even as we are apart.
