When Two Worlds Collide - Chapter 2

Jealousy, pain, heart breaking, that's in this chapter, well partly...
I had been working with a group of people who are around my age, planning on how to get information from the largest corporation of gangs in the world. We also needed to take them down eventually, but now we’re starting with something easier first. In my group, there is Mike, the techie, who can hack any computer and is good with working with technology. He has jet black hair with coal black eyes. There is Jacqueline, the trickster, who is good at disguising things and is good at making this go her way. She had brunette hair with blue eyes and a slim body.
There is Tricia, the girl that can pick any locks and unlock anything there is to be unlocked.

She had blonde hair with pink high lights on them. Her eyes were grey and she was pretty small for her age. Then there is Brandon and Scott. They both are twins, but both with different skills. Brandon can solve a mystery or a puzzle pretty quickly while Scott can use skillfully any weapon there is. They both have cropped brown hair with Black eyes. Julie, who is a slick driver and can maneuver with motorcycle or a car and escape people who are chasing them. For me, well I guess you can say I’m a good fighter, both physically and mentally. They say I’m bold, brave and daring, but sometimes I think I am not even close to that…

Anyways, our group usually works in our headquarters (an underground cave) and this time, it was the big deal. We couldn’t get much information, so someone had to at least find their secret base. How? Well that’s a good question because that’s exactly what we are trying to find out first.
Jacqueline suggested that someone try finding one of those gang members and follow them in, but most of us agreed it was too dangerous. We talked in depth, but we couldn’t get anything. All our ideas where to simple, or too depth, or too dangerous…you name it. Again, we decided to call it quits since night was approaching. We were failing our mission right now and our boss wouldn’t be too happy about that.

Usually, I got dropped off, since I still don’t have enough money to get my own, but tonight, everyone was busy and had to go off. I didn’t want to bother anyone so, I just told them I could walk back to my place. It wasn’t too far away, if I walked, it would take twenty minutes. Hey, it’s not that bad, but maybe it is walking in the dark. When I was walking down the road, it was almost pitch black and since I now live in more of a suburban area, it was still kind of dark because of the street lights and how far apart they were.

As I was walking down a corner, suddenly a car turned on. Since it was dark, I couldn’t really see who it was, but I didn’t really care, because I didn’t think it would ram right into me…
Well the next thing I knew was that I was running for my life, well I barely had the chance to since cars are fast and humans…eh are not too fast. Sure I had the reflexes, but I wasn’t ready for that one. It was trying to kill me! Or at least that was what I thought…I tried to escape, but it hit me hard. The last thing I felt was an instant pain and then nothing…

I awoke in a cold place, my body throbbed hard and as I opened my eyes, I could see nothing, but darkness. Well basically I saw nothing, it was completely dark. There was no light in here…not a single drop. It was as dark as if you closed your eyes. As I touched my head, I could feel something thick and runny almost. There was a lump in my throat and I had a feeling that it wasn’t good. I tried standing up, but I felt dizzy and my body couldn’t hold me up. Why did I feel so fragile? As quickly as I fell down, there was a piercing light that came from down the corner. Then I finally realized where I was. I was in a cell, a cold damp cell. Questions ran through my head, like why the hell was I even here? But my questions where soon answered when a man came strolling down.

The man glared at me for a long time before opening the cell with one of his keys before opening it. I glared at him back as he approached me. I knew it was my chance to get out, so I tried to make a quick run for it, but I was surprised when he got back to the cell door first. He was tall and looked down at me. It made me feel small, but without hesitation, I kicked him hard on the shins and ran out of the cell. I thought I got away, until I saw another person standing at the only door out of this place. I was going to turn back, when I felt rough hands grab me tightly. I tried to move and struggle free, but it didn’t work. "What do you want with me?!" I screamed out.

The person by the door laughed evilly and I felt the chills when I heard it. It was a woman’s pitch of voice. I looked up, my hair blocked most of the view, but I could see her. The woman looked no older then me, but I felt something dark about her… "Follow me Rick…." Said the woman as she started to walk away. "I guessed that the guy who was holding me was Rick. I was surprised at how strong he was, it was abnormal, even for spies. As he led me down, the hall, I kicked and tried everything I could for him to let go, but it didn’t work.

I was led to another room and this one was plainly painted with red and black. It had a few tables and chairs. There were people sitting there, each one had cold looks and when they all stared at me, I felt smaller then a mouse. As I looked at each of them, I was surprised to see a familiar face. An old friend, but he was different. It was that same black haired boy, with the beautiful blue eyes, that shone like the seas. His body was normally built and of course he grew a lot. He wasn’t that little boy anymore like I remembered him to be. He was older and he looked more handsome, yet I could feel chills go down me when he looked into my eyes for moment. His facial expression was cold and right when I saw it, I could feel ice as cold as any glacier. It was almost as if he had no soul or life in it anymore…

"Z-Zach…is that you?" I asked, directly looking towards Zach. His face was dark and he only looked away, his hair partly covering his face. "Do you know her?" Asked the woman that led Rick into this room. "Uh…no Trisha, I don’t." Replied Zach coldly. It seemed as if he had no warmth or even a care in his voice. Trisha didn’t seem to believe him, but she just nodded and stared at me. "Alright then, we all know that you are one of the members from the Spy groups, now all we need is information and we’ll let you go." She stated simply.

"Are you crazy Trisha?" Asked Rick looking at her. Trisha just gave him a look that told him everything. No way where they going to let her go, they where going to turn her into a weapon. I could tell the way Trisha looked at Rick what she had eyed him about.
"Why, I don’t know what you are talking about." I said simply.
"Oh of course you do." Said Trisha. "We know it, now Rick, take her to the room and get some answers out of her." She stated. Zach looked up for a moment when he heard Trisha say ‘the room’, but looked back down at the floor again a moment later.

Charlotte could feel Rick pushing her towards the door and out to the hallway. Her mind was filled with questions, but as she looked back slightly, she could see Zach’s face, almost worried as if he cared for something. Yet his facial expression changed again a moment later.

Zach’s P.O.V

When I saw Charlotte being brought in, I was surprised and shocked although it didn’t look like it. After being with the gang for so long, I didn’t really know how to feel anymore. The only thing I felt was coldness, yet my heart beat faster and my insides grow warm when I saw her. I didn’t know why I felt that way, but it just did. She was so pretty, with her brunette coloured hair that grew down to her shoulder and her black eyes that was as dark as coals. She had changed over time and she had grew a lot. I wanted to kill someone right then for bring her here. Why did they bring her? Why not someone else? When I heard her voice, I felt warmth, something I hadn’t felt in a long time…Trisha, my girlfriend right now knew something wasn’t right and had asked me if I knew her. I simply told her know I didn’t. Many other things happened, but they weren’t as bad as when I heard Trisha say to take her to ‘the room’…I knew whenever she said that, was whenever someone was going to get hurt…real bad… I felt a heavy pain in my chest as I watched Charlotte leave with Rick, and knowing that I couldn’t do anything about it. I am and I admit it, a coward.

Trisha’s P.O.V

As I lead the girl to the room, I sensed that she was someone strong, someone not to be messing with, yet I was doing it. When I went into the room, I saw Zach my love sitting there looking dull, but when the girl came in, his face lit up. I felt anger and hate even though I don’t really know why. Yet when the girl said Zach’s name and when he answered, I knew he had lied. I could always tell from his eyes… Of course I demanded her some information, which she wouldn’t give us, so I told Rick to lead her to the room. Yes, I felt a whole lot better, knowing the girl would get what she deserved. Although I had no idea what she deserved really. When she was lead out of the room, I felt happy and knew boss would be happy too, but when I saw Zach’s face who looked at the girl, I felt even more hatred then before. I felt jealous even though I know he is my boyfriend right now. I really had to get rid of her…
