When the Soldier Cried
Inspiration came from my current girlfriend please comment.
Wipe those tears lift your head show me that smile don't ever change. No matter what nothing else matters. You're the one for me so I show you the smile you long to see. Cause I'll do anything just to see you smile, walk a thousand miles in my shoes and you'll see how much I miss you right now.
Others could stare at me in a book specifically written bout me and still not know half of what I am or who I am because they have no idea what it means to be the stronger man or what it means to protect with your own life and never will they understand what its like to be, the only one who cares enough to put their own safety at risk.
Or what it means to show the tears that flow from your eyes. So how dare you say you know the feeling. You know nothing and never will. I will show you that even soldiers cry like the old saying goes. The strong man will never cry but the stronger man will always admit.
When he does because he knows the road is paved in tears and held together with the blood of his own. So I am proud to say that when I cry I will always let you know. So we may start our road a new and hold it together with the love that falls with the tears of happiness.
