When Summer Goes Away

Isn't it sad when the cold autumn winds begin to blow?
When Summer Goes Away
When summer comes dancing over the hills and heather,
The sun is warm and your mood is as light as a feather.
When summer comes dancing I'm following along.
Until the days start growing shorter,
When autumns glow appears
And summer sings her last song.

When summer goes dancing away
I'm left standing alone in the breeze
Still reminiscing in joyful memories on the beach.
Still walking along a sand dune
Straining to hear one final summer tune.

When summer has gone
And autumn has come
I can still bask in the after glow
Knowing however slow –
Summer will come dancing once more.
