When Lilacs Bloom
How wonderful is the smell of lilacs...
Such a site
The white, pink and purple blossoms
Wafting perfume in the air.
Right outside my front door
What a true delight!
The garden transformed
Into a rainbow wonderland.
Sunny days of May
Made delightful
By the blooming lilacs
In colorful hues.
A swirl of whites, pinks and purples
Swinging in the breeze
Perfume wafting through the windows
Is what happens
When lilacs bloom!
