You will never be able to control all the content that is written about your company- whether good or bad content, it is still content after all. Since Internet rankings are all about links and content back to your site- take advantage of the blogs and chat rooms and make their content work for your benefit.

Put a comment editor on your website. This will at least allow you to control what is commented on your own site at least. You can delete comments and approve or disprove the comments you want- avoiding a lot of spam in the process

It’s always a good idea to write comments back to the people who left them. Whether good or bad, it keeps conversation flowing and can put off malicious comment makers from posting just because they can.
