When I'm Gone
I wrote this over summer break.
You don't want me to go and I don't want to stay.
What more is there to say, something has to give.
I'm young and I'm angry, you can't change me.
I'm nothing and there's no way to help- can't you see?
Don't say what's not meant.
Don't try to wish me out of this because you won't know what you're doing.
I'm blinded by what you're becoming, and won't be a part of it.
So feel the flames adorning,
If you even wake up, I'll be gone by morning.
You'll be all alone and dressed in kerosene, clueless; but unconscious.
But never-the-less, your dreams are forever your company.
