When Good Girls Are Seduced - Chapter Eight
Laxon's uncle shows his true colors when he forces Sylvia to do something terrible. What will Laxon do when he finds out?
Hey people. This chapter is gonna be kinda long, maybe not too long but longer than the chapters I usually write. I forgot to add this in the last chapter: The reason why vampires don't always use their "third eye" (which is what it is called when they use their imagination to get or find something) is because it is tiring and it brings on their thirst early. Anyway this chapter is very sad but it does get happy in the last chapters so... enjoy ciao xx

A week passed and it was a Saturday when Sylvia realized the full extent of her "third eye". She was watching full gear on telly (I know lol) and they were talking about Lamborghini and suddenly Sylvia went into a little daydream. She imagined having a hot pink Lamborghini with white leather seats, diamante rims, a gorgeous spoiler and to top it all off the license plate that read "Sxc Vamp". The next thing she knew Laxon was standing in the doorway, hands on his hips staring at her. "Sylvia... why the hell is there a pink Lamborghini in the downstairs hall?" Sylvia stood up and gaped "Oh shit! I forgot about the whole third eye thing..." Laxon raised an eyebrow "What are you on about?" "I started daydreaming about having a pink Lamborghini and it had white...." Laxon interrupted her "Babe I know what it looks like, like I told you it's in the hall downstairs, now move it to the driveway" Sylvia did so and also she imagined the keys to it on the bed. She turned and picked them up, smiling she shuffled up to Laxon, she gave him a baby kiss "Wanna test it out?" she jangled the keys "Do you even know how to drive syl?" she giggled and shook her head "C'mon, ill teach you".
That was two weeks before the most horrible thing happened. Laxon was out with his mates and Sylvia was in the garden by the fountain reading a book. Somebody cleared their throat and Sylvia looked up and saw that same little fat messenger who had caught her and Laxon. "Your majesty requests you meet him in his chamber now please" Sylvia stood up "Why?" "Miss, I do not know the reason, just that he wishes to se you" she nodded and followed him .The messenger knocked on the king's door "Come in" he boomed and Sylvia walked in, "Sylvia" She curtsied "Your majesty" The king made a gesture and everybody left the room leaving the king and Sylvia alone "Please, sit down" Sylvia nodded and sat on a really comfortable-looking chair. "I have an offer to make you, Miss Gordon" Sylvia grimaced at her last name "What about?" "It involves Laxon" Sylvia sat up straight. "Well you know that in a month and 2 days Laxon will be crowned king now that he has found a fiancée- you, but the thing is...I don't want him to be king. He is a vampire and takes after his father, fortunately Blake does not and was born with elfin blood, I despise vampires and I feel it would be in good interest if our people were ruled with someone who does NOT drink blood." Sylvia almost laughed "Obviously the stupid fool doesn't know I'm a vampire yet" she thought. "Yes, we all know that you want Blake to be king, but sadly that ain't to be king Edmund. Because I am going to marry Laxon and he will be king instead." She could have grinned at the look on his face. "Well I'm sorry dear, that is not gonna happen you see, that is what the offer is about. I want you to leave Laxon and I will pay you so much money, it will be coming out your ears" Sylvia stared and her mouth hung open "I'm sorry, I'm not leaving Laxon, I love him and he loves me, nothing you pay me will make me break his heart." "Oooh, see now, I knew you would say that, that is why I have a backup plan; you will leave Laxon today or I will simply....kill him." Sylvia gasped and shock covered every inch of her face. "You wouldn't kill him" she whispered but deep down she knew he would. "Of course I would, how did you think his parents died. Did you think it was an accident...haha you stupid girl. I killed them I made them have that 'car accident'. King Edmund chuckled at the memory.
Sylvia shuddered at the coldness of this man in front of her, she realized how much she really loved Laxon, how much she wanted to marry him. But she wouldn't let him die just because of her stubbornness she looked up sadly. Edmund knew what she was going to say before she even told him, his smug look made her want to vomit "Ok, I'll leave but I don't want your money, you sick bastard" this comment just made the king chuckle "Oh I don't know, I might not have to kill Laxon but...the heartbreak might, most definitely kill him" and Sylvia ran from the room with loud sobs and heaving shoulders.
*10 MINUTES LATER*
Sylvia had packed all her things and she had written a note for Laxon that she placed on the pillow, she knew she had to do it and with one last sob she left the room. She barged into the HIS (which is the king's new name now) room without knocking "I'm going now" "Good, here drink this" and he handed her a little blue bottle she peered at it suspiciously "What is it?" HE chuckled "It's to stop my nephew using his third eye to find you" Sylvia started to drink and it disgusting bitter taste burned her throat. She turned around and left the room grabbed her bags and stalked out the castle. Getting into her Lamborghini she threw the bags into the back seats and as she drove away the tears poured down her face and she whispered "Bye Laxon, I love you, god I love you so much" and her heart broke as she realized that what HE had said was right, The heartbreak probably would kill Laxon.

*LAXON'S POV*
As I pulled into the driveway I noticed that syl's car was gone, "That's odd" I said to myself "She said she would be here when I got back from going out with my mates". I parked my car (after syl dreamt that pink Lamborghini she dreamt one up for me too only in black and more masculine) and walked into the castle. I looked everywhere for Sylvia, even asking if anyone had seen her but no one had. Last I looked in my (sorry, our) room but she wasn't there either "Where the fuck is she?" I thought and then I saw the little note on the pillow. When I read it I had no idea what it meant "I want you to know I love you, but if staying means you dying then I have to go" was what it read. But then It dawned on me, maybe this was a suicide note, shit was syl gonna kill herself? But then I calmed down "No, it is not a suicide note, it can't be, syl ain't stupid like that" then another idea came to me, I sat down heavily on the bed thinking about it "Had Sylvia left me? Really" I got up and looked in the closet; everything on syl's side was gone. I checked in the bathroom, everything of hers was gone from there too. I slumped onto the floor and I couldn't help it, I started blubbing and shivering like a baby, I drew my knees up to my chin and started to rock back and forth. "Why, why, why would she leave me? I mean, we have fun, we feed together, we don't argue, we love the same things and we have great youknowwhat" I thought like mad trying to find reasons "Maybe I was too loving, maybe she thought I wasn't loving enough, maybe...no, NO SHUT UP BRAIN" I stood up and wiped my face, I'll try to use my third eye, so I imagined syl but when I opened my eyes, I was still in the spot as before I tried several more times before giving up. So that was it, she didn't love me anymore, she didn't want me. I curled up under the cover on my bed but I just ended up feeling worse, the bed felt too big and cold without syl. I started sobbing again, and I didn't stop, I sobbed till the next morning and even then I didn't stop, or eat or shower. My heart broke into a thousand crystals that night and knew one thing. I would never love any girl as much as I had loved sylvia.

*SYLVIA'S POV*
I was sitting down at the dining table when I noticed my father was looking at me with a strange look on his face. Yes I moved back to my old house, I knew Laxon would never think of looking for me there because he knew about my dad being aggressive and a drunk. But really, I was fine; after I came back my dad sat me down in the living room. "Babe I know that after your mum died I wasn't in my right mind and I'm very sorry for hurting you like that. It's just that I miss her so much and when you left me I decided that may be if I stopped mourning and drinking I would become better, and I did. I will never ever lay another finger or harsh word on you again... ok... you are my little princess and I'm sorry you had to put up with that" My dad had apologized and been true to his word. Right now I was eating some spaghetti he had made. "What dad?" I sighed "You seem so miserable, what happened while you were away?" I stiffened and glared at my dad "Nothing, just eat your dinner" Ricky (my dad) got up and hugged me "Not until you tell me" I looked up at him "It's a long story, you won't believe me anyway, you'll send me off to the bloody loony bin" Dad raised an eyebrow at me "Tell me, please princess" I sat down on the couch in the living room and he sat down next to me, and I told him everything. When I had finished he was staring at me and I couldn't help but smile, he had a look of fear in his eyes but doubt too. "You...my princess...are a vampire?" he squeaked at me. I let my fangs elongate and he jumped back in surprise "But...they aren't real are they?!" I nodded and demonstrated trying to pull them off, they didn't come off and his eyes got really big. "Um...so what about this Laxon guy, you were gonna marry him?" I nodded again and the mention of Laxon made my throat feel tight and my stomach twist. "But...you should tell him, tell him why you left" I looked at him and tears ran down my cheeks "I can't" I wailed and dad pulled me into a hug "Baby you have to, he lost you and you're still alive. Remember what happened to me when your mother died, I lost her and I almost killed myself and then I took all my anger out on you." he looked guilty at that last sentence and I pushed him back "You think he'll commit suicide?" Dad nodded "From experience I know, trust me princess, you have to tell him" I wiped my tears away and I kissed him on the cheek "Ok dad, I'll tell him" I got up and went to my room.

For those days when Syl was not with him Laxon got sadder and sadder, he had tried every day to find her with his third eye but never could. He moped around the castle and nobody tried to talk to him, the last person who had talked to him ended up in the stream. He was depressed and he let it show, he no longer laughed, smiled, ate (on blood or food), went out or talked. Nobody knew why except for King Edmund of course. A week passed and Sylvia never came back to him. He was sitting on a chair when he saw that note lying on the floor he picked it up and read it again. "I want you to know I love you...then why did you leave me? But if staying means you dying...what the hell? Then I have to go...where though? Where did you go syl?" Laxon re-read the note and then he wasn't confused anymore about it. He would ask his uncle what syl meant about him dying, he got up and almost ran to his uncle's chamber. Knocking on the door it seemed like an eternity before the muffled "Come in" came. He walked in and Kind Edmund almost fell over "Laxon, my boy whatever is the matter?" he asked, trying to sound concerned, it worked. "Um...well Sylvia left me uncle and I have no idea why but I was hoping you would help me with something" "Anything, anything!" Laxon slapped the note down on the table and Edmund picked it up, he read it and then puffed out his cheeks "Well obviously the tart was off her nut boy" Laxon looked up sharply "Sylvia was not a tart, I just really want to know what that note means" Edmund moved toward him "Well maybe she wanted to kill you but decided she couldn't so she left to stop temptation" Laxon was thinking "That was an option...but Sylvia...wanting to kill him? No not possible" he shook his head "No uncle, sorry for bothering you, I thought you'd be of help but obviously not" he turned around and stalked off. He couldn't take it anymore, the tears soaked his eyelashes and stuck them together so much that he could hardly see but he could see enough to do what he should have done that first night he found Sylvia gone.
