Laxon looked her in the eyes and started to speak, slowly at first but then starting to speed up.

"I am Prince Laxon von D’ierre, I am being forced to look for a woman to marry before the next two months finish otherwise my uncle will disown me and my younger brother will become king. My father and mother died when I was 9 and my cruel uncle took over but now that I am nearing 16 years I must marry before my birthday. My uncle made this up, he knows that I will not marry anyone I do not love, that is how my mother raised me. He prefers my younger brother Blake and I know that he would rather Blake be king and not me. My assistant purgence has been out looking for women that I would do good to marry but so far all he has brought me are back-stabbing, gold-digging, repugnant girls." He grinned at that last sentence and Sylvia could not help but notice he had a beautiful smile that could capture your heart at first glance, fortunately she was too hungry to be captured.

"But that doesn’t explain why I have been kidnapped and sworn at and starved" she whispered, her throat scratching at every breath. "Sylvia…" "How do you know my name?" she snapped "It’s tattooed on your wrist" he smirked. As I was saying, you are not being starved, there is a plate of food over there and you haven’t ate nor drunk the glass of water we provided for you" Sylvia glared at him "I’m hardly gonna eat food that might be poisoned, am I?" Laxon chuckled and stood up "My love, it is not poisoned and I suggest you eat up, you will be put before my uncle later today and I would prefer it if you did not look like skin and bones!"

"I am not your love and I will not marry you" she growled defiantly, Laxon lifted her chin with one of his fingers "You will marry me my love, and you will come to love me, just like I love you now" and with that he brushed his lips against hers and walked out the room.

Sylvia sat there, looking dumb with a slight smile on her face, her breathe was snatched out of her body when he had said that he loved her and then kissed her. She was confused, she was hungry, she was thirsty "Well…I better eat then" she said to herself, getting the plate and eating. The food was delicious even though it was given to her last night it was still warm, and it melted on her tongue like chocolate. After she lay down she sighed "Does he really love me? No, he can’t possibly love me, he only saw me this morning" she thought as she drifted off to sleep. As she slept her cell door opened and Laxon walked in, he lifted her up into his strong arms and walked to his room, gently lowering her down onto his bed he smiled, she was so beautiful.
