What's Love?

What is love?
Is it trust or is it lust?
Is it truth or is it lies?
Or is it something more?

I believe love is an emotion inside you that you just can't explain. You spend ALL your life searching for it, to the point where you might go insane. You can't explain it but when the person you love finds someone else new, you feel nothing but pain and don't even know why but you begin to cry. You smile and walk another mile waiting to catch that person if they ever fall.

Loyalty and trust that's not love, love isn't an emotion, it's a verb TO PROTECT! No matter how much pain love puts you through, you keep fighting to protect those you love or hold dear to you and no one, not even science can explain the complexity of love. It's not an emotion nor a word not even a verb. It's a gift straight from God something that dwells within us that gives us the power to conquer anything that stands in our way. Love... exactly what is it? Can you really explain with one word?

It's pain... sorrow... agony... at the same time it can't be joy happiness, energy. It can build you up or break you down. It's that weird feeling you get when that certain person just walks in the room or logs in to chat with you that your heart melts, you find yourself smiling and can't stop. Love! it's EVERYTHING around us, it's the air we breathe, the water we drink... it's what drives humanity to keep going.

For those who have forgotten love aren't even human anymore, that's all I have to say. I'll end here to whoever may read this. I hope you can relate and understand my view on love. Even though it seems to twist and turn and leaves you confused that's just how love is, it's confusion and complex but most of all :) it's an emotion, all humans have. Thank you God for giving us such a great gift - Love.
