Whatever Will Be, Will Be

A new beginning is what I look for,
To have you and hold on to is what satisfies me.
Can this day be any worse,
As all it is doing is keep you away from me.

Love is just a word for many around,
So I could be the only one wishing and hoping.
But a promise is what's keeping me alive,
Making me fight that much harder and earnestly.

There will be moments when time isn't on our side,
As it is a test of time for us.
You keep faith in me and my love,
Because I will make sure not to leave your side.

Let me see what our fates have planned,
Soon we may find out what's in store for us.
Life will pass us by, old age approaching,
All that'll stay is you and me.

I have left everything that I believe up to us,
For I will never let anything come between our love.
So let us just believe in ourselves and not fret,
For... whatever will be, will be.
