"Whatever Happens, Happens For A Reason" True or False...Ch 2

Hi, This is the 2nd chapter...Thank You...
Where Neha was cursing people and herself, on the other side he was standing and looking at rain.

Both were oblivious to each other’s presence.

Rain always delighted him; he loved the feel of rain on his body. He loved the freshness of it, but it always was not good just like today. Good can be bad and that was happening right now, he was a true believer of good and bad. If rain can help to make something it can destroy it also. His granny always said all the power cannot be good, if it can heal, it can hurt also. And looks like today’s rain had it own aim for hurting and destructing. He had left his place to meet his friends; usually he took his own car to go where he wanted. But today he was bored by car; he wanted the crowds so he decided to go by train. He left the place when rain had just started and in Mumbai rain came and went but this time it stayed on. After travelling from Santacruz to Andheri he was soaked in rain, and as soon as he reached station he came to know that train had stopped. Before he could inform his parents they had started calling and he had reassured both of them. So here he was standing at the platform and apart from other people he was at ease, if someone came asking to let them use his mobile he would happily give it. He was from a wealthy family but he was taught to help people and to use money wisely. It was drilled in him since childhood; his father had a business of gold. No shop as such but his father was into making different gold ornaments for various shops in Mumbai. They were into this business since his grandad’s granddad started it. Oof!!! A long time for him to count but it was a family enterprise, he didn’t mind business but it demanded too much time from him. He was happy to give all that work to his dad and brother, he wanted his designs and paintings nothing else.

His name was Abhishek Shah, son of Motilal Shah. He was 28 years old, completed his graduation in Commerce and despite his dad pressuring him to do MBA he had gone ahead for his art studies. Since childhood drawing was his favorite past time and hobby and he was good at it. He loved creating things of his own and after a point even his dad agreed to it so MBA was forgotten and he was sent to Art College. Abhishek was a handsome guy with artistic nature which girls loved and he never gave more than a passing thought about his looks and also about his money which made him more attractive. He was 5.8 inches tall and was built like a movie star as he had a habit of working in his gym. He always had an easy smile on his face which made easy for people to approach him.

He was soaked wet in his black t shirt and jeans and it had just started to feel chilly in those clothes. The platform was filled with people, all were wet and unhappy. Some were with children, some alone all wanting to go somewhere safe and dry. He looked outside the platform there was McDonalds and usually there would be no place to sit or stand but today it was deserted. Everywhere there was water and vehicles stuck on the road. He was still thinking about the same when he felt a soft hand on his arm, he turned around and girl looking like a model was standing in front of him. She must be 5.2 or 3 max but she was nearly his eye level with those heels on her legs. She had worn a tight black jeans and a skimpy tight T shirt, her hair were straight black but not natural straight. She had used a heavy hand with makeup which was reflecting badly on her face after rain. She was leaning towards him and smiling a practiced smile.

"Hello, my name is Lasika I was watching you from quite some time and thought you also were alone so I could use some company on this miserable day"

"Of course you are welcome; I was just looking at rain outside. So how come you are stuck here?" He didn’t like the type but he was raised by her mother well to do otherwise. Anyways he was getting bored. A little company would do, so he started talking to her.

In the evening.

Abhishek was bored, bored like he had never been in his life, the girl could only talk about herself and nothing else. He wanted to shout for Help if someone could rescue him. Since last one and an half hour he was listening about Lasika, she thought she had all what needed to be a model. God! He started looking somewhere else than Lasika as she was leaning all towards him. He appreciated harmless flirting but this was way beyond that, then suddenly he saw something moving in the bus on the other side of road. He walked little closer to see what was moving, it seemed that there was someone in the bus alone. He didn’t think about anything but went ahead and left Lasika shouting after him. He didn’t explain to anyone, when he went nearer to the road the bus was standing he could make out that it was not a Government bus but a private one which was used mostly by schools and his heart started beating faster. If it was a school bus there would be a child inside, he had not noticed the water level because his first mission was to reach to the bus. He never noticed anyone else he kept on going and assured girl that he was coming towards her. He was close to bus and there was a small girl in uniform at the window she wasn’t shouting now but looking at him and still crying. After reaching to the bus he opened the door and there was one more smooth hand trying to do the same.

That was first time Neha and Abhishek saw each other.
