What Women Find Repugnant in a Man
There are many things that women find repugnant in a man. All of these things signify either a total lack of respect and regard of a woman, or, are a lack of self respect for the man himself.
The mother figure syndrome
Some men never seem to get over the need for a mother figure in their lives, and if this is translated into their relationship with a potential partner, it can have disastrous effects. Women like their men to be confident and self assured, not cloying puppets clinging around their skirts seeking permission and guidance in all matters.
The green god
I refer of course to jealousy. Whilst every woman enjoys flattery and perhaps a little harmless flirting, she needs a man who trusts her. There is nothing worse than an obsessively jealous man, who mistrusts innocent situations. It only proves to a woman how little a man regards her love for him. It is a claustrophobic emotion and one which women hate.
The brutish man
Whilst most women like a man to take the lead, they do not like a man who always considers himself first. It is demeaning to the woman and only serves to show how little regard he holds for his woman’s tastes and preferences. Women are by nature, generally more romantic than men, and they need to be shown courtesy and consideration.
The doormat
Women like to be able to look up to their men, to view their men with respect. There can be nothing more off-putting to many women than a man who constantly keels over and who allows the woman to dominate.
The philanderer
Women have no patience with a philanderer. A man who always has eyes for other women, and who seeks out affairs, either cover or overt, outside of their relationship. A woman wants her love to be treasured and nurtured and her chosen partner must recognize this to the exclusion of all others.
The braggart
Braggarts always find it necessary to boast about their achievements, but very often, this belies actual under-achievements. A woman prefers a man who is confident enough to allow his natural talents and achievements to show through in their own right, and not to be "bigged-up" by pompous rhetoric just designed simply to impress her and those around her.
The lazy man
Women hate lazy men…men who will just sit around doing nothing all day, whilst their partners toil ceaselessly for two. It shows the woman just how little respect the man has for her.
If the man is not industrious, in both outside work and work at home, it warns of a serious lack of ambition and denotes a man to be avoided at all costs, lest a mundane life of mediocrity should follow.
The eager beaver
Whilst women enjoy attention and a certain amount of adoration, a surfeit of such attention is to be avoided. This is especially true at the outset of any relationship. Whilst a woman likes to be wooed, she doesn’t like to be swamped by the man’s emotion. Rather, a gently developing relationship that holds about it some mystery of things to come and if and how the relationship might develop.
Also, a woman doesn’t want a man who demands sex on the first date. She needs to feel respected and that her love will be rewarded and returned, that she is not just an object of bestial desire…another notch on the bed-head. She wants to know that when she is ready to offer her ultimate prize, that it will be accepted with love and affection.
The repellent man
The truly repellent man is one who only has thoughts of himself. All of his bad traits are borne of a total lack of regard for his opposite numbers feelings, needs and desires. A man most women will shun.
