It's been over a year since I've written anything. It's short, and not that great but oh well.
Face the facts and get it right
You'll never be number one in anyone's life.
Sit on the sidelines and watch their love die, as the most important of them pass you by.
An unappealing sight to the watchful eye.
They'll never believe you're good enough, and you know why.
There will always be someone better, though you thought you found what was best.
Until you are deceived, it's not like all the rest.
You're just another girl on their journey to find the "one"
As they pass, you go unnoticed while falling apart on your journey of a lost heart.
They can't see that you're better than them.
Yet you're the one left alone in the end.
