It's been almost a year since I'm in a tizzy, following all, mind you, all back-fence talks about the fifth installment of the iPhone, have trailed every source that had something to update about Apple's plans this summer, and read each and every news that gave an inkling about the iPhone 5 release date. Trust me on one thing, if they enable this feature in the fifth-gen iPhone, owning an iPhone would soon turn into a compulsion for US citizens. Those who're clueless about what this technology does, need to know that NFC allows devices to communicate with each other. For example, you left your wallet at home, and want to shop. All you need to do at the shopping counter is wave your iPhone 5 in front of the NFC-enabled device, and it will automatically deduct money from your bank account. Now that is worth expecting from Apple developers. Mr. Jobs, can you hear us?

We Expect: LTE Support
A super-fast broadband in the US, LTE support will take the mobile communication network to a different level by providing 100 Mbit per second downstream speed, and 50 Mbit per second upstream speed. Both iPhone 4 AT&T and Verizon operate on 3G, and the speed is decent enough for a normal iPhone user. However, for those in a habit of streaming YouTube videos every now and then, 4G speed cannot be discoursed against. If the iPhone 5G comes with an LTE support, that's reason enough for you to grab it with both hands.

We Expect: An Enhanced Processor
You can call all others a rumor, but this one, seems to be guaranteed. The next iPhone will have the A5 chip in iOS 4.3 firmware code which means that you can expect the best processor in your palm a few months from now. While the iPad 2 got a processor upgrade too, the same for iPhone seems to be likely. Moreover, with every iPhone installment, Apple has provided its users with enhanced memory and data storage. Well, it happened with Apple iPad 2 too. Let's just cross our fingers, and let Apple iPhone 5 come up with a much more enhanced RAM and data storage capacity.

We Expect: An iPhone in White, Please
An iPhone in White... now that's worth waiting for. Users were disappointed time and again while waiting for the iPhone 4 to come in white. Apple gave hope, turned down plans, delayed a lot, but Apple devotees have still not given up. The truth is, you can expect an iPhone 5 to come out in white, shooting out all manufacturing issues earlier. Come on, now even the iPad 2 comes in white, and believe me, it looks heart-meltingly beautiful. It's the iPhone 5's turn to go white now.
