What Makes a Man?

"Oh, Jesse! I love you too!" It was true, I do love him. I have been waiting for him to say that for so long. And then he kissed me, making all my thoughts go away. He had never kissed me like this, it was breath-taking! He picked me up while my legs were straddling him tightly. He carried me to his room never breaking our kiss. He knows I’m a virgin, and I also know that he isn’t.
I took off his shirt and I couldn’t help but get mesmerized over his amazing abs. He pulled off my shirt and started to undo my bra when my phone started to vibrate. I kissed Jesse on the lips and jumped off him. I started walking out of the room opening my cellphone, "Hello?"
"Heeey Lex!"

"Oh, Hey Nate. It’s not a good time, I'll call you later."
"Uh, Um.. No! You need to go home, I need to tell you something EXTREMELY important. Please just go home, I'll meet you in your room." He had hesitations between every word he said. I could tell he was nervous about something and I wanted to know. Nate has been my best friend since birth and I love him. Not lovey dovey way, but he’s always been there so I think of him like he’s a ... brother, so I gave in.
"Uhm, Kay, I’ll be there in 10. Bye?"
I walked over to Jesse and crawled back on top of him. He kissed me so gently and then it broke out into a mad make-out session. I parted my lips allowing his tongue to explore my mouth and I did the same. I wanted him, but I had to go home.
"Jesse, I have to go home, Nate needs me. I’m sorry! I’ll come back later on and we can finish this. I love you!"

"You too."Jesse said with a hint of jealousy. He’s always thought me and Nate were doing something behind his back and he always got upset. So I got up off him and I put my shirt back on and did up my bra. I ran out the door and walked home. Nate lived next door to me so I knew he was already in my room. I opened the door to my house and walked up the stairs. I opened my door and heard Nate get up off the bed. He walked over and hugged me so tightly and kissed my cheek.

"Hey Nate, What’s going on?" He looked very uneasy like he hadn’t slept in awhile. He was so gorgeous though, probably more good-looking then Jesse. Oh man, he’s so cute, he has amazing eyes, I just wish-" I stopped dead in my tracks when Nate came out and said, "Jesse’s cheating on you, I saw him with Alison after school on Monday! They were making out behind the bleachers after his football game!" He seemed relieved to get that off his chest. I was in shock, I fell to the ground and just cried. Nate ran up and carried me to the bed lying me down. He walked to the other side and lied behind me wrapping his arms around my stomach. He whispered in my ear, "Lexx, I’m always here for you, everything’s going to be okay." I turned around and put my hand on Nate’s left cheek, and I kissed his right. We just layed there for the rest of the day, my back towards him, his arms wrapped around me. This was normal for us, he always sleeps over and everything. I drifted off into a fearless sleep in Nate’s arms.
