What King Solomon Has To Say About Faith Rings

The wisest man who ever lived actually has some insight about Faith Rings (or Christian Jewelry) as it were.
What King Solomon Has To Say About Faith Rings
Bible scholars KNOW the book of Proverbs was penned by the wisest man who ever lived. He was a son of King David (the man after God's own heart) and Bathsheba. His name is...King Solomon. Solomon is in fact known to have penned 3000 proverbs. While many of his proverbs are filled with life-applying nuggets, there is a special one Faith Rings would like to bring to your attention. Found in Chapter 7, verses 2-3, of God's Holy Word it reads as follows:

"Keep my commands and you will live, guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.
Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart."

It is King Solomon who also said there is nothing new under the sun. Thus, the concept of a 'faith ring' is not a 'new' idea entirely. So as to be perfectly clear allow me to elaborate. While I believe the deeper meaning of Solomon's words (for those of us who believe in THE ONE TRUE LIVING GOD) is to keep HIS Word near and dear in our minds and hearts, I also believe it means to utilize methods that will enable us to do so. Thus the concept of a 'faith ring' does not follow far behind.

It's the same idea as filing away those classic lines from great movies and songs, or remembering everything there is to know about a first love or crush, or even studying for that test in your special area of interest! You see, those things that mean something to us, that hold true feelings for us, can never be taken from us.

It is the same with our faith. Once we believe, once we KNOW the truth, we can never turn back. Of course, we NEED God's Word in the process---especially during those moments of weakness. But, in the thick of it all, if we stand firm we can never turn back. And, if that means memorizing scripture, learning all the books of the Bible, or even wearing a ring with words that express our Christian faith, we should do what we can to write the teachings of God's Word on our hearts. I believe King Solomon would agree!
