What Kind of Cars are Available On the Motability Scheme

The motability scheme is there to help disabled people obtain cars but what makes are available.
The Motability scheme is a charity that was set up to make it easier for people with disabilities to obtain vehicles that suit their needs. This means that there will be restrictions on what types of cars are available. However there are some major players in the world of car production involved in the scheme so the options are quite varied. There are 4 x 4's. Estate cars, family cars amd MPV'S available.

One of the newest car manufacturers to add vehicles to the scheme is Suzuki. Some of their models available on the motability car scheme include the Suzuki Splash, Jimny, Swift and Grand Vitara. Suzuki have a long history of creating innovative and stylish machines so their addition to the motability scheme is a welcome one.

Mitsubishi are another provider of motability cars. Their vehicles available include the popular shogun, and outlander 4 x 4's as well as the lancer sportback. Mitsubishi say that their cars are created to be driven to thrill.

You can even get a Mercedes car through the Motability scheme. There may be some extra advance payments required depending on the class of vehicle you go for. Mercedes are renowned for their safety features and style which makes them that bit more expensive than other makes of cars.

Other car manufacturers participating in the motability cars scheme include household names such as Peugeot, Renault and Fiat. Cars from all of these suppliers can be hired on a three year contract lease. Alternatively they can also be bought outright on hire purchase over two to five years.
