What it Takes to Become a Blogging Expert

Learn what it takes to become a Blogging Expert and how to use your blog to earn you a monthly income. If the steps are broken down properly, it's not hard at all to achieve this.
Sometimes its better for your marketing career to just relax, do some planning and break things down into its micro components rather than looking at the big picture. The reason I say this is because it is the small steps you take executed over some time that will build the momentum necessary for you to become successful.

If there are 200 steps you have to climb to reach the top of the stadium, you might twist your ankle or even break your leg if you try to skip 6 steps on the way up. So why do it? I'm 40 years old as of the time of this writing, and if I didn't rush things or try to make things happen too fast I'd be a millionaire right now without having to do much at all.

The good thing is that it is never too late to make up for lost time. And even better, you can put in as many hours as you want right from your own home. So the question is what is the appropriate Home Business Model to engage in that will allow anyone to build their business at their own pace and for little or zero cost? The answer is Blogging. Anyone can become a Blogging Expert within 6 months with just a few pointers.

It doesn't take a technical wizard to Become a Blogger. However you should know how to type, preferably 45 words per minute or more. Then the process becomes a lot more fun. Community Colleges have typing courses that are usually self-paced lab type courses so if your typing is too slow or you find yourself having to look for keys, practice as much as necessary to get through this hurdle.

Before you start Blogging, you also want to find a subject you will be comfortable Blogging about. Yes you can have your articles Ghost Written but in the last 3 months I've found it's much more fun and a lot less costly to write them myself.

For example if you know how to play guitar, there is a massive and very commercially viable Niche Market out there for guitar playing and it is for the most part untapped. Millions of people want to learn to play the guitar, but a vast majority stink at it. Personally this is not what I'm into but if I was I'd be hitting this market with everything I had. For example Clickbank offers an affiliate program called Jamorama that pays 75% commissions.

There are many other examples so for now I'm just trying to get your creative juices flowing. Lets say worse case scenario you aren't an expert at anything commercially viable yet. And by the way to test the commercial viability of a market is simple. Just visit google and type in what your want to blog about. If 4 or more Google AdWords ads come up you will be able to earn yourself some monthly residual income blogging in this niche.

The next thing you want to do is to get yourself a domain name. GoDaddy, 1and1 and Namecheap are all good choices. Then get Low Cost Website hosting that costs under $10.00 per month. HostGator and HostMonster are both excellent choices. And a good theme like the Ultimate Blogging Theme from Carl Ocab will only set you back $67.00. And a nice header graphic to represent your blog might cost you another $25.00. So for under $100.00 you can get a very nice blog up and running.

See you don't have to sell the farm to become a Blogging Expert. The next thing you want to do is to start writing 1-2 articles per day for the first six months. First post them on your blog. Then take the same article and submit them to all the article directories except for the article directories that specifically require unique content. Write similar unique articles for these directories. This will give each page on your Blog backlinks.

Google runs on unique content and they just love it. The name of the game is the person who has the most unique content out there at the end of the day wins the game. But this is a marathon lifestyle not a sprint. By this I mean that you want to put in your work then walk away from the computer. You don't want to work 16 hours one day then get frustrated and quit. Get on a consistent Blogging Schedule where you spend 3-4 hours per day or even 1-2 is fine if you work full time. And always take one day per week off.

My partner and myself run a large Network Marketing Blog. By following the advice I'm giving you in this article we've been able to increase our traffic about 300 unique visitors per day within 90 days. The reason is we're getting quite a few Retweets and the Free Article Directories we submit to get us lots of pings via RSS feeds. People subscribe to RSS Feeds through these directories with certain keywords or categories.

So when we write on a particular category their blogs automatically pick up our content and we get pinged. Sometimes I'm really motivated and get 5 articles out within one day. It's not uncommon for us to get 30-40 pings in one day when we do this. I hope this article gives you a few more pieces to the puzzle you are missing.

One more Blogging Tip I think you can benefit from before I close this out is that if you visit the plugin portion of your Word Press Blog, you will notice that it contains a search feature. You can use this function to search for many different Plug-Ins that will make your blog do the coolest things. For example there are Plug-Ins that will automatically post to your Twitter and Facebook page. Also check out the Top Commentators Widget. This encourages people to post on your blog.

In summary it will take you 6-9 months of practice to get things mastered. And if you hang in there and keep blogging you'll start to really reap the rewards. We wish you the best of luck in your Blogging Efforts.
