What Is What?

Have you ever heard the ring of a bell
A sort of crystal clear ting.
Have you ever heard a dove sing
While on the wing.

What is a blue sky
Without a yellow sun up high.
What is love
Without a hopeful future.

How many trees must there be
In a deep forest.
How many fish must there be
In the sea.

All of this is stuff and nonsense
If you don’t think and ponder
About the wonders life holds
And all the dreams untold.
