What is Missing? Chapter 2
This is how I picture Amy who soon will be Alina.
"Yes ma’am. How may I help you?"
"Yah. I want to reserve a ticket to New York for tomorrow’s flight. Is there any available?"
"Yes. There is ma’am. 7:00 AM is the time of the flight so you need to be here ma’am by 6:00. What is your name so I can now reserve your ticket?"
"Oh. Is it needed?" Oh my God, Why didn’t I think of that?! I’m so busted.
"Yes ma’am. Can I have your Visa?"
"Here. And my name is Amy Tennessee." I hope she’ll not ask me anything.
"Tennesee? Hm. Sounds like the richest..."
"Excuse me miss, is it also your work to ask any personal questions about your customer?" I know I’m bad but what can I do? I don’t what to talk about that thing anymore.
"I’m sorry ma’am." Well, I just made her aloof.
"Ok. Done. Can I go?"
"Yes ma’am. Sorry again."
Amy replied with a small smile. She can’t just ruin her day because tomorrow will be the day that she is leaving Hawaii. Amy goes in a fancy restaurant to eat lunch because her stomach is really growling. While eating, she comes up with an idea that she needs to change her identity for her parents not to trace her.
"I hope mom and dad would give me this chance and they would understand that I need to do this for my own sake." (Sighs) "What should my name be? Hm. . . .I think Alina would be great. It fits the new me."
She continues eating until she’s full. She checked on a Five Star Hotel to spend the night. She should have enough sleep because tomorrow New York will witness the change in Amy and now ‘Alina’. And she drifted to sleep.
"Aaah! (Yawning) I need to get there early."
Amy goes to the bathroom and has a 15-minute shower and decided to wear a T-shirt with a sweater on it and black skinny jeans with a black boots. She wore an eyeglass because now is the start of her change. She took a cab and instructs him to the airport. She is so excited that she forgot about her parents.
In the mansion...
"Darling, where is Amy? Yesterday, I thought she’s just in her room doing something but when Eleanor (maid) looks after her, she said she’s gone. I don’t know what to do!"(Crying hysterically)
"Arrie, calm down. You can’t do anything with your crying. Amy just wants to live on her own. Maybe she really wants to be independent. Let it be. We know her; she will call us after 1 month or maybe just a week. You’ll see. For now, let’s just wait for her call. And if nothing happens, we’ll order our men to find her. Are you now ok?"
"Are you sure she’s ok?" If she don’t call for a month. I swear I would kill you Adam."
"Ha ha. Alright honey. Watch your words. She’ll be okay. I promise."
Alina is now in the airport and she’s early. It’s just 6:30.
"Well, better late than never."
She waits for 30 minutes to hear the announcement that they should be ready. Before going to the airplane, she looks back at Hawaii and prays that her parents would be happy in her decision.
