What is Missing? Chapter 1
What will you do when you get tired of your life? Amy is a very rich girl. Having their own company. But she gets tired of living her life and finds a way to live her OWN life without her parents always there. Can she take the risk?
Amy is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tennessee. They have their own company so they are obviously rich which makes her a little brat. Having 3 guards and 7 maids, what can you ask for? Living like a princess is absolutely every woman's dream but for her, she's sick of it. She never went to club, having no friends at all. Never went to a school, always homed school. NO SOCIAL LIFE!
"Mom, Please, I really want to go to New York. I want to act like a normal kid. Going to school, having fun, having legal boyfriends. Come on. I beg you."
"Not again. Amy, Baby, you don't know what might happen to you. You might get rape, torture. Who's going to be there for you? Oh my honey, I can't imagine you like that so please stop. Let's just eat. Okay? Don't bring that topic again."
Amy never said anything. She just ate small pieces of food because she is upset to her mom.
"What's wrong with her? Didn't she become a teenager? Why does she treat me like a 5 year old when in fact I’m 17?" Amy thinks while eating. Well, she can’t just brag it to her mom or else she would be grounded. (No difference if she’s not)
Her mom is always over-reacting. She always says the same reason when she will bring that topic again. So nevertheless, she will just shut up because she knows her mom will never change her decision.
Her dad is always late. Her mom once said that he forgot to go home because of so many things that need to be done. (Funny right? How can someone forget to go home? Ha ha) She felt lips on her forehead and knew that it’s her dad. Her dad never forgot to show how much he love his family even with his small gestures and though he is mega busy. After, her dad goes out of her room.
Amy’s room is big. 3 times big of what you can imagine. Well, that is why she is spoiled. Everything she said, her mom and dad would eventually do it but not her one last wish. (You know, Amy going to the city).
(On her mind) "Should I continue this? My gosh, I can’t imagine my mom and dad in pain just because their only daughter is gone. But I need to do this, I need to discover myself. I need to be a model. I need to be in New York"
(She remembers the past)
"Honey, you know what? You’re so beautiful. You look like me when I am your age. You remind me of myself. That’s why your dad never gave up on me because I’m like a gem; well he said that."
"Ha ha. Okay mom, I know. You said it like 100 times whenever you will see me in a formal dress. Mom, I really want to be to study in school where there will be super hot guys and to be a model."
"Honey, you will. At the right age. Not now, because you are just 15. I want you to finish your study. Okay, we need to go."
"But I want now, mom. Please. Let’s go to New York, I want to be a supermodel!"
"Enough Honey, we need to be there on time. Your dad will get angry."
She walks angrily. (Going to reality)
She already packed her things after she ate earlier. She really needs to be out of this mansion. She gets her Louis Vuitton luggage then out of her room. She walks tip-toeing so she can’t disturb her parents. She made it to the door. Now her problem is if the guard is awake. No problem with the other one because the other one is in the back door. So she peeks then saw that the guard is soundly sleeping. After walking for like 5 minutes out of the mansion.
"Wooh! I’m free. I made it. New York, here I come. But how about them? What would their reaction be? I hope they will understand that I am doing this to live on my own. Not just always depending on them."
She has her own savings so no problem in a year by now, but how about for the next year? How will she cope up?
"I need to find a job. I am going to pay for my own schooling so I need to have money. Well, I know I can make it."
