I drove Amelia all the way home but of course she complained about how she was feeling way better, but I wasn't taking no chances. She's been very odd lately, hot and cold in a way, she's distance then she's not, I feel that she knows some think, about me. I parked up and kissed her on the cheek goodbye, her skin was soft and warm, she smelt like roses and for a strange reason limes? who cares either way she perfect to me.
I would say I had to run some errands when I arrived home as I was already late, like I said to Amelia I live with my grandfather Lesley Knight who is sixty-five years old in a little two bedroom house, it's small but cozy, there's a lake behind the house I would say medium-sized, my grandfather just recently put fish in there for some odd reason.

The house is closed off to people except from the house across the road but my grandfather say they already know about us and that our family and there's have been friends for many years. I haven't still learned to accept myself, even though it's been a couple years, I was the youngest to ever change at the age of thirteen. The usual age is around fifteen to seventeen some don't even change until the age of twenty ! My family just said I was full of strength that my body was ready and that I was special, different more like.
I opened the door to the front of the house and called in to tell my grandfather I was home.

"Hi, I'm home, sorry I'm a little late I had errands to run" I called.
"What are you forty ? you're eighteen what errands do you have?" said Lesley walking out of the kitchen.
"Hey gramps" I said again.
"You've been with her haven't you ?" he asked.
"No, running errands" I lied.
"When you going to learn boy, we have good noses and I can smell her, who is she ?" he said waggling his eyebrows.
"A girl" I said looking down.
"Of course it's a girl unless your ? you're not you know are you ?" he asked.
"No gramps I'm not gay and her names Amelia".
"Oh" was all he could say.

"She isn't like the other girls gramps, she's, how can I explain, special ?".
"What you mean boy ?" he asked with a little alarm in his voice.
"She a mystery. Don't worry gramps she don't know anything" I said so that he wouldn't panic. Thinking about it, how much easier would it be if she knew ?
"Don't worry boy, mysteries take time to unfold. So for now lets eat" he said turning to walk back into the kitchen.
It's different. I've never really had advise before, my parents never really understood what I was going through when I was growing up. They tried and I'm thankful, they were great parents but this thing that happens to me it skips a generation, so it goes my grandfather, not my father, then me, so if I had a child he or she wouldn't have the gene it would be my grandchild. Let's just forget it right now and go and eat, I'll worry about it later.

"SHIT". I woke up in a rush and ran towards the front door. They were here again I could smell the blood of a dead rabbit. When are they just going to leave it. Lucky my grandfather haven't realized yet, he might have a good sense of smell but with his old age it isn't that good anymore. I pulled on a par of jeans and a top and when outside to cover up the smell of the dead rabbit. This has been happening since I come here, what the hell have I done to them, great this is perfect it's like my life will never be normal, even though how hard I try. I think it's time gramps has some explaining to do.

The next morning I woke-up earlier than usual to catch my grandfather before he left to go to the shops.
"Hey there mister" I said catching his shoulder.
"Oh you're up early which is a miracle" he said lifting up both his hands up to the roof.
"Ha Ha very funny old man".
"Hey watch it boy, I might look old but I certainly don't act it".
"Back to the point. Since I've come here these things have happened to me, like people are trying to scare me away ?".
"Oh boy, I thought they would have given you a chance to settle in" he said then started to mumble to himself.

"What gramps, who is it ? I will go and see what there problem is".
"You're the problem boy, there like you, like us, lets sit down and I will tell you every think" he said pushing me towards the couch.
Lesley sat down and took two deep breath before he started. "When you were first born your parents were worried about the gene in our family and how it skips a generation. Around the same time other little babies were being born , some earlier and some later, I knew what this meant and when I told your parents they freaked out, I tried everything to stop them but they never listened and they ran, they ran away from the truth. When the time came, I thought they would come back with you so that you wouldn't have to go through it on your own, but they were so stubborn and in the end I gave up, I done my best to help them I gave them advice and warnings". He stopped and looked me up and down and took a deep breath again. "They did their best and they did a brilliant job. But I think it's time you were around people who are the same as you. That's what they have been trying to do, there trying to get your attention. But I warn you boy, I know they parents and grandparents, I've seen how they were brought up, some are very nice but some take time to adjust".

"So what your saying is that I need to go to them and introduce myself ?".
"Exactly"
"But how ?" I asked.
"I will make some phone calls" he said getting up and walking towards the phone, but before he dialed he turned back around. "If you got any plans or "errands" cancel now because this will take probably most of the day".
I knew he was on about Amelia, I would just go and visit her after all this was over.
After Lesley finished making the phone calls he stared to get ready for a hours drive up to the lake. To be honest I found it stupid why didn't they come a meet me here, they know where it is, plus they wanted my attention I didn't want there's.
The drive felt longer than what it was meant to be, it was hot and stuff in the jeep and for a strange reason I felt a little nervous, but I shrugged that straight off. I called Amelia to tell I would come around later today to see her, and if it's late I would call her instead, but I could tell my the sound of her voice she want to see me face to face.

As we arrived I could hear people talking and laughing, I could smell a BBQ cooking a mixture of food and the sound of music. Lesley parked by a row of vehicles and jumped out. He seemed so relaxed and calm, I jumped out with him and began to walk towards the noise.
"What's going on ?" I asked.
"There having a welcome party, I told them not to but they wouldn't listen" he said and shrugged.
"Great , do you think they will be ok with me and all ?" I asked.
"Oh well yes they should be, don't worry about it boy. Some of there parents were close to your parents and they might remember you when you were born so don't be to surprised if they come up to you, ok ?".
"Sure".

We walked through a couple of tree to find a big lake with sparkling water. There were people swimming in the lake, old people sitting in little chairs with cups in there hands smiling. There was a man, brown sandy hair on the BBQ with a chef hat on laughing at the guy next to him. Wow it wasn't so bad, the sun was shinning people were laughing, children playing. Then I seen them, sitting on a log near the water, there was five of them, three boys and two girls. I turned to face my grandfather.
"Are they them ?" I asked.
"Yes, Eliza and Sophia are the two girls and Dennis, Morgan and George are three boys".
"Ok, thanks for the heads up, I'm going to go and introduce myself".

I walked passed the old people who were now staring at me with a strange look, great I thought. I jumped over the little puddle of water and started in there direction.
"Hi, I'm Daniel, the one you've been trying to get his "attention"" I said smiling.
They all look up, some smiling and some just looking me over, wow they could put someone in the spotlight. After a minutes looking over and smiling a girl stood up and held her hand out.
"Hi, nice to finally meet you, I'm Sophia" said a medium-sized girl with long straight black hair with sharp bright green eyes. "This is Eliza" she said pointing to a tanned girl the same height but lighter hair and blue/green eyes. "This is Dennis" she said pointing to a buff guy with short black spiky hair and the same sharp green eyes like Sophia, maybe they are twins or some think. "This is Morgan" she said pointing to a medium built guy with long brown swoopy hair across his face. "And finally this is George" she said and lastly pointed to a guy who was the same built as me tanned color with light sandy hair and jet black eyes.

"Nice to meet you all" I said to be polite. They didn't really look half bad it might take awhile to settle in but they seemed nice or pleasant in other words.
"Huh really, I still think it's a bad idea" jumped up the buff one who was called Dennis, with his brown eyes he gave me sharp me and walked back towards the crowd of people.
"I'll go" jumped up one of the girls.
She ran up to Dennis lased her finger through his. Oh that must have been Eliza who jumped up as I'm pretty sure Sophia and Dennis are related.
"We are sorry about that, Dennis takes time to accept stuff, he will come around sooner or later" said the one with sand hair who was George.
I moved and sat down next to Sophia and began talking. Dennis and Eliza didn't come back but I seen them walking by the water then sitting down next to each other. Oh how badly I wanted that to be me and Amelia, just sitting and cuddling.
"So what school do you go to Daniel ?" asked Sophia.
"Oh um" court off grad I turned to face Sophia "Evergreen high".

"Oh wow, what's it like there ? What are the people like ?" she asked smiling a big grin across her face. Wow I liked her already, she's like a little sister which I never had.
"Sorry about her it's just that we've never gone to school we've always been homeschooled together" George said before I could answer.
"Oh that's cool. Well it's not what you think its like, yeah it can be fun but the teachers can be a bore, plus there are some fools in there" I told Sophia.
"We've always wanted to go to school but our parents think its to dangerous" she said rolling her eyes.
I think I already like them, Sophia is like a little sister to me already, George is calm and relaxing, Morgan I don't really know yet as he haven't really said any think, Dennis seems over protective and I think it's going to take time until he will trust me and Eliza seems like a strong but polite girl.
"So how about something to eat ?" said George getting to his feet.

It was late before we finally left, gramps was a little drunk so I drove home, he might be old but like he said he certainly don't act it. I said night to everyone before we left, George asked if we can meet again so we planned to see each other at his place in the week. It was 11:00pm when I arrived home, I put gramps to bed and clean up a little so he didn't have nothing much to do when he woke-up. While I was in the middle of wiping down the counter I looked at my phone to see a message from Amelia.
Hello.
Parents are out so come over anytime.

I looked up at the clock to see it was 11:30pm, it was a little late should I go or not ? What is she was sleeping ? or maybe he parents decided to come back home ? I couldn't just leave her waiting, gramps would understand I hope . I left a note on the fridge so when he would woke up it would be the first thing he would see, then I got the keys to my car and drove over to Amelia's house.
It took me 20 minutes to get there and when I did I sat outside to make sure her parent never came back home. The house looked dark but the living room light was shinning bright, I seen a flash of a shadow walk passed the curtains and I knew it was her waiting for me. I jumped out of my car a jogged up to the front door. I knocked twice before she answered. She opened the door to me with a big smile on her face, her brown eyes shinning and her curly hair tied back into a loose bun with curls dropping around her face.
"You came" was all she said.

"Of course I came" I said smiling back at her.
"Come in its freezing out there" she said stepping away from the door "go on through to the living room".
I walked in and took my shoe off so that I would getting any think on the carpet, when I walked into the living I spotted a bowl of popcorn on the table and a movie next to it.
"I thought that since you've been so nice to me that I need to pay you back someway so I rented a movie and popped some popcorn in the microwave" she said walking through into the living room.
"Oh, that's very nice of you" was all I could say, what if he parent came in, in the middle of us watching a movie what would they say ?
"It's ok if you don't want to we could "
"No I would love to watch a movie but what about your parents, where are they ?" I said interrupting her.
"They said they were sleeping out over there friends as they going to be out all night for one of my father's business parties, so don't worry" she said with relief spreading across her face.

"So, what movie you got?" I asked and pulled her towards the couch.
While we were in the middle of watching the movie Amelia fell asleep in my arms, I would have taken her up to her bed to sleep but she looked so comfortable I didn't want to disturb her. Instead of watching the movie I watched her sleeping on my chest, Oh how beautiful she was with her brown hair dropping onto her face. I stroked her cheek and cuddled down so that we were laying down on the couch, it was wonderful how our bodies we shaped so perfect for each other. I watched her for an hour, watching her chest rise and fall, until I feel asleep next to her.
