What If Good Was Dark... (Part 1)

This is a story based on a quote I made... "What if good was dark, and evil was light. Then good will prevent us from seeing the evil in this world."
"Hurry up Anna", said mom, "You can tie your shoes once we get to the store". I quickly let go of my laces and ran towards my mom, who was impatiently waiting for me. I almost tripped a few times but I made it to the store. "Wait here, by the door while I go inside and get a few things", said mom. I took this opportunity to take out my drawing pad and draw a picture of my self. I am not a very good drawer, but I can at least make out what the picture is about. I drew my head, with the turquoise eyes and the brown hair. After that, I drew my torso, slim, short, and no breasts. You can't expect a 10-year old to even have breasts. After finishing the torso, I started with my legs, a bit long and slim.

After I finished drawing, a man with ragged clothes came up beside me. He looked at my picture and said, "That is a nice drawing you have there little girl, looks a lot just like you" "Thanks" "What's your name girl?" "My name is Anna". I shuddered when he rubbed his chin, "Anna huh..." said the ragged clothed man. I don't think that I should have introduced my self. "Umm, sir, you haven't told me your name", I took his moment of silence to tie my shoe laces while he thought whether to tell me his name, or not. When he finally opened his mouth to tell me something, my mom cut him off when she called me from inside the store, "Anna, I have a dress that would suit you, come here so you can try it on." Disappointed by the timing my mom chose to call me, I left the man and went inside the store. I thought I heard him saying, "I will see you later", but it could have only been my imagination.
