What I Did

I was in love
But when I did that I wasn’t thinking

You never told me you loved me and you never showed me!
I thought that you were the one!

But I learned that even when you joke people may take the wrong idea!
When I did, what I did, I didn’t want anyone to get hurt! But I was hurt!

The passion of how much I loved him burned when he said that we should just be friends!
I don’t know why I did it! But I did!
I hate that I can’t move on but I love that he’s still a good friend!

When there was a time I knew he didn’t like me
Was the time I turned my back on the one I loved and lost him forever!

He’s moved on! He'll never come back!
But now I have to go on knowing that I hurt the guy I truly loved!

He never loved me! I could tell when he looked at me
That there was someone else on his mind!
All I ever wanted to do was so be loved and for all eternity!

But that day I learned that love comes around alot!
But true love is hard to find!
