It's finally lunch. I walk to the stairwell following his directions. I get there and sit under them. They are blocked off so I have to slide in through this little hole. I can hear people walking up the stars. I'm so happy my school doesn’t have the stairs that have the holes between every stair. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. Ian squeezes through the hole. I’m all the way in the corner so he can’t see me and it's really dark in the corner. I get up and start walking towards him. "She didn’t even come. Waste of time."

"I’m a waste of time." I say and touch his shoulder. He turns around and looks at me.
"I thought you didn’t come." He says and he pulls me to him. "Let's skip." He says.
"No. I don’t skip." I say.
"Come on just this once."
"You're such a bad influence. No." I say.
"Fine. Goody too shoes." He says and he leans in and kisses me. We start kissing and I pull away.
"I’m really hungry."
"Okay um let's go, come on lets skip. It's only like twenty minutes left in school."
"No."
"Okay then after school you want to come with me and get food."

"Where?"
"I know a place." He says and kisses me. He walks back and I back into a wall. "Sorry." He says and rubs my head. He’s like getting rough.
"You know what I’m going to leave." I say and walk away. I’m not going to go through an abusive relationship. I go back to my class and just sit there what's up with him it was like he was too eager to either get me out of the school or keep me interested in kissing him. Some girl walks into the classroom and sits across from me. Okay I know I don’t pay attention in class but I know she’s not in this class.

"Stay away from him okay." She says and I look at her like she crazy.
"What?"
"Stay away from him, he’s my boyfriend and if I see your fat little grubby hands on him I’ll break you."

"My hands may be a little chubby but they are not fat and I wash my hands all the time thank you." I say to her and I hear laughing. I turn around and some guy that's reading a book is laughing. I turn back to her. "If he’s yours take him." I say. "As a matter of fact let me break up with him right now." I say and take out my phone and I call him. I put him on speaker and he answers on the first ring. "Hey, so there's some chick telling me that she’s your girlfriend." I say, "Say hi." I say to the girl.

"Hi, Ian." She says.
"So um yeah it's over have a nice life." I say and hang up. "Happy now."
"Excitable." She says and gets up.
"She didn’t even use the word in the right context." The guy says and I look over and he looks up from his book. He has gorgeous brown eyes and he’s blonde.
"I just thought that." I say and he smiles. Wow he has a nice smile. But I’m off boys for a while when you get lied to in a relationship twice in a row you get tired of it.

"You work at the coffee house on Collins right?" How does everyone know where I work not a lot of high school kids go there.
"Yeah wait your coffee black because you put your own sugar and milk in and you always get the chocolate chip and strawberry muffins."
"Yeah you remembered."
"Yup I started making those muffins for the coffee house, you and about two other of my customers are the only ones who order them."

"They’re really good."
"Well thanks." I say.
"So you want to hang out sometime."
"I’m sorry but I’m done with the dating for right now."
"No not like that as friends. I have a girlfriend."
"Oh okay then sure."
"I’ll come by the coffee house after school of your working."
"Yeah I am." I say and the bell rings and everyone walks in. He’s the first guy I meet since before Drew that hasn’t asked me out.
