What Are You Going To Do With Your Life?? Prologue

"Laura Summers! Please sign this for me!" a girl comes up. "Sure" She said smiling. She quickly scribbled her signature and went to the next person.

She had won the school prom yesterday and had stood first in the exam, and since then there were thousands of people at her door, eagerly waiting for a 'Hello' at least. They didn't give her a wink of sleep. But Laura didn't mind. She loved it. Next morning she woke up. Saturday. Great! No school! She got out bed, washed up and changed into a Baby pink tank top and white Capri. She put her blonde hair behind her ears and ran her fingers through the curls. She put make up and put perfume. Then she rushed downstairs for bread fast. "Dad already left?" She asked her mother who was making pancakes. "I afraid so, sweetheart.

He said he had to leave early and come back late. He's really stressed with all the work." She said flipping the pancake. She shrugged. She hardly had seen him yesterday or the day before that! When she had come home from school prom, her father was still at work. She really missed him. She sighed. "He said he's really proud of you for standing first!" Her mother said smiling. Laura took a pancake and put some golden syrup and started eating quietly. "Mom. Can I go out with Lavender, Ellie and Maggie. Please!!" Laura said. "Yes. But you have to come back early. Not like last time. You came at 11 in night. Plus drenched because it rained!" She said sternly. "Thanks!" Laura jumped up and put her plate in the sink. "Bye!" She said putting her shoes on. "Bye darling! And don't forget to come back early!" She shouted from the kitchen. She heard a bang from the door and smiled.

"So, where are we going today?" Maggie asked. "Well, me and Ell thought that we could start with shopping in the mall. and then have lunch. That's all we decided till now." Ellie said. "I really want to buy new sunglasses. This one's old!" Said Lavender holding her sunglasses. Laura laughed. "You're always so picky on sunglasses and earrings, nothing else." She said. "Whatever." Lavender said rolling her eyes. "I think your really desperate for earrings, Laura! Look at them!" She said pointing the white and pink earrings that looked like it was just bought, in a pretend concerned voice. Laura growled. Everybody laughed, Including Laura. She loved life.
