Well, most women would probably say all men are flirts and what not, but how many of us are really sure that cute guy was flirting in the first place? This is not a definite guide to understand ways to know a guy is flirting, but I think after having met (and disposed) many a flirts along the way, I can safely write some handy hints for the babe in the woods or for that lucky girl who really has a hunk interested in her (and not some pesky creature). Well, girls, if he is interesting, then go ahead (Whether he flirts or not) and if you are just not sure than read on to get acquainted with ways to know a guy is flirting!

Ok, so he’s gorgeous and all that jazz, but if you want a date with this hunk, then simply stare back. This is not a tip to flirt for women. This should be done to gauge the way the guy stares at you. An obvious flirt can be spotted even on a crowded dance floor. A guy generally starts looking at you and glancing all over (Gee! That sometimes can be really irritating.) A ‘not so interested’ man would not look at you in the first place. Girls! Make eye contact and if he’s a flirt, he is bound to keep gazing, or even have a slight hint of a smile playing on his lips. Well, the way a man glances at you should also be taken into consideration. For all you know, the young chap may be glancing at someone behind your shoulder. So, was it a quick glance? Some guys may be bold enough to approach you immediately where as some of the shy guys may actually toy around with their glass for a couple of minutes before approaching you.

A guy is definitely flirting with you when he is standing too close to you although you have only met for dinner. He may casually fling his arm over your shoulders or may not even move his leg away; although your leg may accidentally brush against his. He may also laugh a bit too loudly and be attentive to notice if his body is inclined towards you all evening. Even if he is at the other end of the room, you may see him constantly trying to dazzle you with a brilliant smile. Girls, if all these ‘symptoms’ match, the guy is flirting with you for sure. And he if irritates you like hell, well, you need to look the other way! There are many fish in the ocean ladies!

A guy who is all out to flirt will definitely want to impress the lady. This display of affection can be seen in various forms. A flamboyant personality may send you a bunch of flowers at work (to advertise his interest) or one of the smarter species may try to strike up a conversation with you. He will try his hand at cracking some of the funniest (and the saddest) jokes and try his best to have you by his side through prolonged conversations over dinner or at the party. The guy is definitely flirting is he asks you for your cell number and calls you up the next day to know how you are doing! (Although you have just met the previous night.)

Well, not all guys can be irritating, the more ‘interested’ varieties may actually turn out to be good listeners and if he is genuinely interested in a woman, he is bound to listen with rapt attention to what his lady is saying as a sign of respect and also as a way to know more about the woman. If he remembers the details, girls! This guy is really interested; do not shrug him off!

Some guys are born flirts and can say it directly with words! It’s obvious when he says you are beautiful and wants to know where you live.
