What are the Best Acne Creams?

You may have been advised to try baking soda or apple cider vinegar. These homemade acne treatments might work initially, but it is bad to use them. Here is why.
Your grandmother may have told you to use a home mix to treat your acne. And it probably worked... for a little while. Then you observe that your acne starts to come back after you applied it. In fact, it comes back much worse than before. Your skin breaks out, and you stop using the home acne treatment she recommended. Then, you're off to finding another acne product in hopes that it cures your acne for good.

The reason that acne treatment made your acne worse in the long run was because the treatment was damaging your skin. That's how skin irritants work. First, it looks like it is a very effective acne treatment. Skin irritants are excellent at treating acne - they burn off your skin. As your skin is damaged by the treatment you are using, your acne starts to come back because the treatment is no longer effective. Usually, your pimples come back as an acne breakout.

When we tell people what the best acne cream is, we tell them it is the acne treatment that doesn't destroy their skin. This often means you have to use weaker acne treatments, but if it saves your skin from permanent damage, it is without a doubt worth the trouble. Also, know that everyone has different skin types.

Your skin may be more or less sensitive than your friend's, so it's important to treat your pimples accordingly. Use a low concentration to start for any ingredient you use, and move up if you see that your skin can handle the acne treatment. This is by far the easiest way to treat your pimples safely.
