Wet Bar Designs
Wet bars are pretty common these days. In case you are contemplating having one and wondering about designs, perhaps this article below would help.

Design Ideas for a Wet Bar
Keg and Bar
This is what you can commonly see in an urban home. The design of this one is somewhat like 2 L-shaped bars connected with a straight type in the center. The best part about this is you can have it either in your home or the basement. This kind of a bar gives you enough space to keep a refrigerator along with a beer keg. When seen from above, its shape gives an impression that one third of the square has been cut. All these features make this a hit.
Cornering the Drinks
A design apt to fall in the category, this is a winner when you are short of space but want to have a bar. What I am referring to is a corner bar, which just has a small cabinet for storing drinks. Further a bottom and top cabinet aids in maximum utilization of space.
Countering the Tops
When there is a mention of home bars, one cannot ignore countertops. A great option is a granite countertop. Stone looks classy and gives a certain sturdiness to the structure. Plus, if you have a dark granite, it will be easy to care for. In case of granite however, it is better to speak to the fabricator well in advance.
Bar-be-Que
Who said you need to have wet bars inside the house? Have them out of the box (oops I mean out of the home!), in the yard or patio. Team it with a built-in barbecue. This design is getting very popular these days.
Starry Starry Lights
Lighting cannot be sidelined. The better your bar is lit, the more it will add to the fun. Indirect lighting, like small spotlights, recessed lights and so on, can give a fantastic look. Creative lighting can add to the appearance of the whole area. If you are a sports aficionado, embellish the basic design with sports mementos or memorabilia. Or have lights resembling the gear used in your favorite sport.
Design Considerations
You can go for a straight, L-shaped or even a corner bar. But an important thing to plan here is the arrangement of various electrical appliances - refrigerator, mixers and so on. Making the outlets in the right places or planning for them prior to constructing the wet bar will prevent problems related to electrical sockets and connections. With regards to stocking of glasses and drinks, well that depends on how much do you act host! If you do not have a lot of guests coming over all the time, just a few good bottles of the usual would do. Further, you may even afford not to have a conventional, classic glassware if that is the case. Assortment of glasses and collectibles in sync with your bar would be perfect.
There are a few more designs you can choose from, which you can get online as well. Pick anyone of these and dazzle your guests with by your bartending skills! This is where I sign off! Have a great time!
