As Garrnet ran through the spooky woods he tripped over a log. THUD! He fell to the ground. Surely he would get eaten now. He was in trouble and he knew it. But what he didn't know till now was that his best friend was a werewolf. Garrnet heard a loud growl rip through the forest around him. Then the leaves ruffle. Surely these would be his last moments. Then all went black and it was over...
Weeks had past and people kept search for the boy who had died. The saddest of them all was his 8 year old wife Geatah. Geatah had looked all around the neighbor hood and through the forest. Yet she could not find his remains. What had happened to Garrnet know one knew. Everyone was under the impression that he had left the city and was never to return.
One day well Kanta, His daughter was walking through the woods. It had been eight years since his death. Everyone still wondered if he was to ever return to his home. It was all a mystery. Suddenly as she stepped down the ground rumbled. She was frightened. Then in the corner of her eye she could see something scary,Something big...Something Human? The thing creep closer, And closer. Then she was being lifted off the ground but whatever our whom ever it was. "LET ME GO" Kanta screamed. The thing held her tight. As she looked at the figure it scared her even more. She had seen pictures of his person she couldn't quiet put her finger on it. "Shh, be quiet, It's okay I won't hurt you" Said the voice.
Kanta was shaking she didn't know what to do. But then her cell phone ran. "That's my mommy calling and if I don't answer it she will come and find me, Then you will be in trouble" Kanta warned. The figured grabbed the cell phone and answered it. "Hello" He said in his British boyish accent. "Who Is This?" The voice on the other line asked. Garrnet dropped the phone at the sound of the voice. Though it was more mature and grown up. He could still decipher the voice. It was Geatah. He wife, The love of his life.
Geatah was in painc. She had to find her daughter. But now she knew her daughter was with some stranger that she did not know. Geatah rushed to get her coat and shoes on. Kanash came downstairs. He had a smirk on his face. "Mom where you going?" He asked. "To get your sister sweetie, I'll be right back" Geatah said in a panic. Then she left. As Geatah ran down the street, She tried to think of where Kanta would go. Then she thought about how Kanta was like her dad. So the most likely place was the woods. The same place Garrnet had been going before he disappeared. Geatah ran in to the woods. Then she saw a man holding Kanta up in his arms. As a mother she worried for her daughter.
Garrnet looked at the young girl in his hands. Why had she said her mother was calling...Unless Geatah had gotten over him and found someone knew. Geatah ran towards him and frooze. "G-g-garrnet?" She asked. He looked at her with pure pain in his eyes. Geatah looked at him and said "Where have you been, I haven't seen you in years you are a mess". Garrnet moved forward with Kanta moving around in his arms trying to break loose. Geatah moved closer. Garrnet put Kanta down lightly and carefully. Kanta ran to her mother and hugged her shockingly. Geatah wrapped her arms around her daughter in a warm embrace.
Garrnet looked at the two then turned away. It was getting late soon he would have to hunt. He needed food and they were so...close. But he couldn't hurt them. "Geatah, I love you but you have to go, I'm dangerous, I will hurt you" Garrnet said. Geatah looked at him confused. "Garrnet what are you talking about?" Geatah asked. "I'm dangerous, I'm something you would never think exists" Garrnet said sadly. Garrnet went over ad hugged Geatah and Kanta. " Garrnet you have to come home" Geatah complained. So without a word Garrnet nodded his head and went home.
On their way the sun had set. It was dark and Garrnet could not fight his hunger any longer. He loved her and he wouldn't let her get hurt. "look Geatah I love you but, I can't come home with you" Garrnet said. He could feel his fangs pressing in to his bottom lip. Geatah looked at him with a saddened expression. "Garrnet even if you are something dangerous we're your family you wouldn't hurt us" Geatah said. Garrnet looked at her confuzzeled. There was no way Kanta was his. No way in heck she was. "Kanta how old are you?" Garrnet asked. "Me I'm 8 and a quarter" she said.
Garrnet looked shocked. Why had Geatah not told him she was pregnant? He would have found a way to fight this and come back if he knew she needed him. "Garrnet I really wanted to tell you, I was actually planning to tell you the day you disappeared" Geatah said quietly. Kanta looked at Garrnet. "So you are like my daddy or something?" Kanta asked. Garrnet smiled his goofiest smile. "Yeah I guess I am" He said happily. If this was his daughter then she had grown up beautiful just like her mother. Garrnet felt proud of himself that he had the most beautiful daughter ever.
Suddenly Garrnet couldn't hold back his hunger. Garrnet's eyes went black as midnight. He ran at Kanta with his fangs out. SNAP! He bit her neck. Blood came flowing over his teeth. He kept sucking all the blood. Then Geatah Yelled "GARRNET YOUR KILLING HER" She cried. Geatah couldn't believe her eyes. Geatah broke down in sobs. But Garrnet couldn't stop there he needed more. The blood was like a soda pop you just couldn't avoid drinking. Then once he was done with Kanta he went and grabbed Geatah up in his arms and bit her swifly and lightly. SLURP! He sucked her blood. But then something stopped him. He put her down and she fell down. It was the end she wouldn't make it. He had taken to much blood.
There was no hope now. He was a monster and he knew it. He knelt down beside Geatah. "Geatah...Oh Geatah I'm a monster and now I'v killed you" He said looking at the almost life less body. "Garrnet, It's okay, I will meet you in the next life, but we may never be close like we were again" And with that sentence she passed out and died. Garrnet started to cry tears of blood. Just then A boy was standing in front of him. "YOU KILLED MY MOTHER YOU MURDERER" Kanash Yelled. "I'm Going to get the cops on your case like nothing you fiend" He continued. So Garrnet did the only thing he knew. He killed Kanash to.
The next day...
The police investigated. Garrnet had escaped to a different country to escape the murder he had caused that night. He would forever hate himself. He had killed the love of his life. From then on he would never forgive himself.
