Lack of determination and willpower in dieting and exercising leads to failure in achieving weight loss. Self-hypnosis is an exceptional way to lose weight. Do not misinterpret it as a supernatural theory, it is just a mind game.
Instructing our mind to do certain things is the science of hypnosis. Hypnosis involves the hypnotist and you. Self hypnosis is an act where you are your hypnotist. This cuts down your dependencies on someone else to lose weight fast. Self-hypnosis is just like programming your mind to do the things you want. Self-hypnosis for weight loss is not magic. You will not lose weight by just getting hypnotized. You will have to have a control over your appetite and exercise daily. Remember do not starve. Old habits die hard.They can be changed if we are willing to do so. Self-hypnosis is self-help to get rid of chunks of fat. It is not at all a fast process so there are no immediate results. If you have faith only then can you be successful. Think thin and one day you will be thin! Hypnotism helps you to have a control on your diet and go to your workouts daily. No need of crash diets and fancy exercise equipments.
Steps for Weight Loss through Self Hypnosis
Self-hypnosis can be performed regularly by sparing 15-20 minutes everyday.
Step 1: Lie down on your back and close your eyes.Relax your body.
Step 2: Do not sleep. Awareness is the key to self hypnosis. Take 3-4 long breaths.
Step 3: Relax all your body parts one by one. Start from the feet or from the head. Relax each and every part.
Step 4: Set your body clock as to how many minutes you want to get hypnotized
Step 5: Now auto-suggest yourself. Some of the suggestions are I will not overeat, I like fresh fruits and vegetables, I will follow my exercise regime regularly, I will not eat fatty and oily foods, I will lose my weight soon. Not more than 10 commands should be given.
Step 6: Lie down for 5 more minutes taking deep breaths and then stop the activity.

- Accept the reality that you are overweight.
- Be conscious of the activities you indulge in
- Follow your diet and exercise activity daily.
- Be aware of what and how much you are eating.
- Go through sessions of self-hypnosis at regular intervals.
- Feel thinner and you will look the way you think.
- Motivate yourself to lose weight.
- Be patient about losing weight.
Develop a positive attitude and your conscience will help you lose weight. Patience is the key to success. Remember hypnosis is not paranormal!
