Along with maintaining a chart, you will want to maintain a diet diary or calorie intake chart as well, so you know eating which food helps you to lose weight or gain weight. You will also want to keep a track of what you drink as well, as most of the time it is observed, that people keep a track of what they eat, but do not keep a track of what they drink. There are different ways, which you can use to keep the calorie count of what you consume through the day. When you make note of what you eat or drink, try to be as accurate as you can. In case you eat out, you will want to look up the nutritional information as well.

You will use the weight loss chart and keep a track of your weight loss, but more than the weight loss it is also important, how healthy are you. Many times people do lose weight, but become unhealthy as well. This is certainly not desirable.
