Weeps

Her soul is lost and he weeps
He can not stand the fact that she is dead
He could not save her
Nor could he love her
She was too of the same
Alive in his heart and dead in his soul
He loved her in his own way
But never out loud
Now he could never say "I love you"
And see her face
See her joy, see her pride
He waited for the day
For the day that was right
But it was too late
He held her in his arms as she died
And he whispered I love you. Slowly.
