Weeping Angel

Weeping angel watching leaves dance,
I miss you too, you were my warmth
Taken away by an illness' dour lance
We stepped and swirled, youths mirth

Immortals lost in our hearts, fools
Taken away in a moment of fever
Looking for reflection in teary pools
Left alone, hurting, dying forever

Living on so that love lives on too
Deep racking sob is all that is left
Taken away before we said "I do"
I am alone, heart-struck and bereft
