OK! So, I know that you have been going all over town (or maybe, even the country) to find yourself the perfect wedding dress. The bridesmaids' fittings are taken care of and the groom (who, as usual, is clueless) has a handsome tuxedo. You have picked the venue and finalized the menu. The bar will have all the required drinks and the seating arrangement is flawless. You are finally getting the answer to the question "when will I get married?". But my dear, you still need help with the wedding color scheme. That it why you are here, right? Not to worry, I am here to help you out (because you are so very special to me!) with some great wedding color schemes. These color schemes need to be incorporated in the wedding invitations, the chair covers, the curtains, the china, the flowers, the table covers and the wedding rehearsal (well, the rehearsal is optional). I am not one for tradition and the routine. Nonetheless, we will discuss the regular and traditional wedding color scheme ideas as well as some new and unconventional ones. Both of them add beauty to the wedding planning. So shall we begin?

Wedding Color Scheme Ideas # 1
O.k. we begin with the most classic and chic wedding color scheme example – All White! It is gorgeous and sets a class apart. It can gel with any kind of menu, ceremony and wedding theme. Not to mention, it is very flattering for the bride as well. More so, it can have a very pearly look and in this background, the groom's black tux will look so much better! You can pull in laces and satin and have drapes and balloons! Trust me, conventional it may be, but it sure looks gorgeous!

Now we come to a color scheme that runs along the same lines – All Pink! Yes, it is very popular and the look it gives is to die for! No, your ceremony will not look like a marshmallow and you will not need to wear a pink wedding dress! Pink is a color that complements all others and this quality is what we bank on. The color pink will give the entire place a very innocent and cute look. In the midst of that, your love for each other will exhibit it's purity! Read for more on weddings.

The next one is an all time favorite of mine – Shades of Purple! Yes, purple is a color of divinity and creativity. More so, it looks gorgeous. You can have different shades of purple on your invitations, the drapes and the table covers. Bottom line, the rich and regal look of purple will engulf the wedding and give it an "out of the world" look and experience. Isn't that just what you were looking for? Now, this next wedding color scheme has a look that is to die for- White and Red! Yes, red roses on white background. White stands for purity and red for love. Is there a better way to declare your love for each other and to be brought together in the purity of matrimony. More so, you can have gorgeous white and red flowers in your bouquet. Yes, it is a little clichéd. But then, some of the wedding's beauty lies in its cliches, right?

Wedding Color Scheme Ideas # 5
Now we come to an unconventional style – Black and Gray! No, I am not talking about a Halloween theme wedding. But you can have an open wedding ceremony or a beach wedding. In such a case, black and gray can prove to be a great beach wedding color scheme. It is not very commonly used but it works. The white wedding dress and the transparent wine glasses, the white and black tuxedo and the bridesmaids' dresses. Can you imagine and see how great it will all look?

Another wedding color scheme that really works wonders for a beach themed wedding is Ocean hues. That is blue and all its shades into green. This wedding color theme has a very refreshing and enticing effect. Do not go for the regular wedding attire here, go for a more comfort based attire. The bride can have flowers in her hair and the drinks can be served in coconut shells. Boy!! That should be fun! Read for more on beach wedding attire.

Wedding Color Scheme Ideas # 7
The last of my favorite wedding color theme ideas is Burgundy and Emerald. Yes, they are contrasting colors. But this color theme works like a charm for winter weddings. The brightness and the colors will accentuate all the happiness that you will be feeling on the day. More so, let's face it, the bride and the bride's dress will look great in such an atmosphere.

These were the top 7 wedding color scheme ideas. But don't forget, you can always improvise. It is your wedding and you decide! This is where I sign off! All the best!
