White Wedding Cake

- 5¼ cups sifted cake flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup shortening

- 2½ cups heavy cream
- 24 oz bittersweet chocolate (finely chopped)
Preheat oven to 350° F and keep the baking pan ready by lightly spraying non-sticky cooking spray. For this cake recipe, beat eggs in a small bowl and keep aside. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Take another large bowl and beat butter, until softened. To this, add sugar and continue stirring to make a fluffy mixture. Stir in vanilla extract, eggs and mix properly. As you continue to stir, add the flour mixture and milk alternately. Work well to make a smooth batter. Add this chocolate cake batter in the baking pans and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until done. Remove from oven and keep for cooling.
