Wedding Balloon Decorations
Wedding balloon decorations truly give an elegant touch to a wedding venue. There are many ways in which balloon decorations for a wedding can be done. Read on.
Common Types of Wedding Balloon Decorations
Balloon Walkways
Balloons can be used to decorate the walkway at a church wedding. You may secure the balloons on ribbons to the end of the church benches, either individually or in small bunches. Inflate the balloons using helium so that they float, and also use long ribbons in order for the guests to comfortably view the wedding ceremony. For an outdoor wedding ceremony, or the way which leads to the entrance of the reception area, bunches of colorful balloons on long ribbons make an excellent walkway. Tie helium-inflated balloons to the stakes in the grass, or to the base of a bulky ornate flower pot with silk blooms. In case of an evening wedding, it is a good option to secure colorful balloons to small solar garden lights on the ground for creating a graceful ambiance.
Balloon Arches
This type is considered one of the most exhilarating balloon decorations. You may make balloon arches by using single balloons all laced together at equal lengths on a wire or a string, and then anchored to the ground at each end by a sandbag or anything heavy. You may create such arches as long and wide as you desire. You also have an option of buying plastic strips for this purpose. The arch can be placed on the backside of the head table at the reception, or before the area where the couple would be standing for marriage. For this type of arch, use helium gas to inflate the balloons, so that they float upward.
You may also make a different type of balloon arch by utilizing a low-priced metal arch. This one is a wider arch that uses several balloons which are fastened to the arch's framework with short pieces of string or wire to make a thick and complete arch. For this design, you need to use air to inflate the balloons, instead of helium gas.
In any of the above mentioned designs, you may use balloons of the same color, shape, and size, to give a uniform appearance. You may even use a combination of two or more colors and shapes for a beautiful and colorful appearance.
Balloons for Centerpieces
Balloon bouquets are normally used to create exquisite wedding centerpieces for embellishing tables at the wedding venue. Use ribbons of different lengths for ligaturing a bunch of three or more balloons together, and secure them to a balloon weight. You may also make a personalized balloon weight by simply wrapping a heavy object with a glistening mylar.
There are numerous ways in which you can create and customize wedding balloon decorations. Even if balloons are used for the decoration in an imperfect manner, they still manage to meliorate the appearance of the venue.
