Weapon Of Destruction - Prologue
Hello! Well it's been awhile.. hasn't it? Anyway.. I wanted to start a story.. Just to try maybe I'll continue with it, maybe not. It's up to you!
Shadow's P.O.V.
"Shay you need to go into hiding! You won't be safe otherwise!" Serena preached to me for the hundredth time.
"So?! Xavier doesn't have to!" I didn't get why HE got to go on lookout, this was about BOTH of us! Why should I go into hiding, when he doesn't?
"That's cause I'm more skilled. So therefore I'm in better shape to take care of myself. Obviously." Xavier said as he were speaking to a child.
"Shut up! God! We all know that if we were fighting one-on-one I'd win!" His eyes glistened as if he were ready to that the challenge. Good. I wanted to fight, right about now.
"Shadow Marie! LISTEN. TO. ME." Serena was about ready to bite my head off. She actually used my full name! Yes. I only have a first and middle name. Why? Cause no one knows my last.. Not even my brother..
"What?" I said drawing my attention back to her.
"FIRST of all there will be NO fighting! Got it?" She must have seen his eyes too.. "Second.. You know your brother would kill us all if he got back and you were still here.. He'd never allow it. Your all he has left, without you he has no one. Do you know how horrible he would feel if 'they' caught you? Are you gonna do that to him Shay?"
I sighed.. She knew that always got me. "No.. but if I go Xavier does too!" Okay so.. I was acting a little childish.. But you see Xavier and I HATE each other! We're constantly competing against each other.. So if I go and he doesn't, he wins. And I hate to lose!
"No way in hell! Serena you can't make ME go like you did with HER. I'd be more help on lookout and we all know it. We'd just kill each other anyway.. Not like that'll help either of us." I swear one day I'll strangle him.. Just watch me!
"He's right Shay.. I'm sorry but.. There's no other option.."
No! no. no. NO! This is not happening to me! They can't just send me away like this! What happens if I never see any of them again? NO! Fuck. The closest people I have to family are sending me away.. My only real family ( my brother ) isn't even going to be here to say good-bye.. I hate my life..
