Ways of the Heart Chapter 2

I am sooooo sorry it took sooo long! schools started and theres been problems at home and my dad got MARRIED! and my grandma has cancer and every things going crazy. well here is chapter 2 yet again I am soooo sorry! Ill try to hurry next time! sorry!!!

CHAPTER 2

The wind rushed past my face as I ran down the long winding hall. Closer and closer to his maker. It felt good to know I was going to kill her and set Nick free but first I have to ask her something.
When I got to the door it was opened. I as surprised. Slowly I walked in and there she was sitting there at a table looking at me.
"Wolf." She said. She looked a lot like Nick but her eyes were a light blue.
"Vampire." I said and she looked at me.
"Do you need something?" She asked and I smiled.
"I need you to die." I said.
"Well I'm sorry but I cant let that happen." She said and stood up. She was thin and she looked like one of those little glass dolls that your mother would yell at you for touching.
"I have a question to ask you." I said and she looked at me tilting her head to the side.

"Yes?" She asked.
"When you turned your grandson what were you thinking?" I asked and she looked at me.
"Are you talking about Nick?" She asked and I looked at her. This woman who made my husband leave me.
"Yes." I said. She sat down again then motioned for me to sit down also. when I sat down she began to speak.
"He was young and vibrant. He was such enjoyment to have around. When I saw he became bored with human life I gave him immortality and he took it. And he was happy again. Then as years past he became bored. seeking other things to entertain him. He left my side and then when I find him hes married to the Queen of wolfs and he had a daughter! My grandson who I loved and cared for had turned against me for what? a wolf and a slut of a daughter?! I couldn't allow that! So I told him to leave. And he did. And he went to a vampire village and he had a mate and a baby on the way." She said pleased.

"A slut of a daughter?!" I nearly screamed and I closed my eyes to calm myself down.
"Now you listen to me and you listen good. HE is my grandson and I will not allow him to throw his life away for a wolf. He is better off without you and your daughter." She said leaning close.
"He made a vow. I expected him to keep it. It is a vow that can not be broken. He will be mine again whether you like it or not your grandson has two wonderful children with me and you know what? I am part vampire so in a way hes not with a wolf but with a vampire." I said and she looked at me for a moment.
"Then you should know hafe breed that when you kill a vampire you die." She said.
"That's your rules. My mother and my father are your Queen and King. I am above the law." I said and she looked at me.
"Why do you come here?" She asked leaning forward.

"I have to fix what went wrong. I lost my love and my children lost there father." I said feeling the lose that I always locked up.
"Do you really love him? Your a wolf. You are uncaring. Unloved." She said and I looked at her.
"When I was little and my mother left ya I was unloved. But I had my brother. And thats all I needed even when he turned his back on me for his mate." I said and she looked at me.
"And you think killing me will change everything?" She asked.
"It will change something." I said and she narrowed her eyes at me.
"My grandson knows better. You are a wolf! No your not a wolf your a hafe breed!" She yelled at me and stood up.
"I may be a hafe breed but at least I don't make monsters." I growled standing up also.
"Monsters?! I created a god!" She screamed
"A god? Nick? Yes hes a god of some sort but you didn't make him. He made himself." I said and she hissed at me.

"I gave Nick life. I gave him forever. So I did make him." She said in a low voice.
"Nick has been threw things that made him who he is. You will never understand." I said and right when she pounced I was ready. I threw her across the room and she hit the wall with a crunch and slid to the floor. She go up and growled at me.
"You will die." She said and then she was in front of me. I flew across the room. I spun just as my body was going to hit the wall and used my feet to kick myself off and launch myself towards her. I tackled her and had her pinned. And before she could hit me I snapped her neck. And then pain lashed threw my body as far away Nick felt the pain of losing his master.
