Other Ways To Make Money With Bum Marketing

After you’ve found your niches, selected an affiliate program, researched your keywords and written and submitted your articles – don’t stop there. You can still benefit from your writing and earn even more money. Here are some ways to do just that with Bum Marketing:

Start a Blog

A great way to get some extra eyes on your articles is to start a blog for each niche you promote and post them there. Blogs are easy, free and simple to setup when using a template and a free blogging service like http://www.wordpress.com or http://www.blogger.com. Just post your articles with as many affiliate links as you like and start earning.

Ideally you’d like to post an article every 2 or 3 days, and setup it so the blog automatically pings the major blog directories. Also, don’t forget to submit your blog to Google and Yahoo for future inclusion and add it to http://www.technorati.com. You can even add AdSense or sell ad space for additional income potential.

Use eBay

Another great way to make money with Bum Marketing is to select your articles for a specific niche topic, compile them into a ‘how to’ e-book or special report, sell it for a profit on eBay.

Simple compile your content into a PDF formatted file using free tools available at http://www.OpenOffice.org and at http://www.PDFBuilder.com.

Instead of selling your book on eBay for $0.99, you can submit it with either master resell rights or even private label rights for $9.99 or even $97, if it is of excellent quality. Make sure that any affiliate links you include are embedded well and provide helpful and relevant info. Then over a year, you might have 10 or 20 of these ebooks around easily earning you a little extra cash.

Do You Squidoo?

Simply creating a Squidoo.com lens can help you highlight your articles, reviews and suggestions, and send additional traffic to your affiliate links.

What About CraigsList.com?

This is a great free service where you can post classified-like ads. Since the site ranks well in Google and gets many daily visitors, it’s an excellent source of additional traffic and income.

Kijiji.com

Kijiji is another free service like CraigsList, which can get you more traffic and commissions. They do not allow active linking, but you can include a copy and pastable link that will still bring you some traffic.

MySpace Marketing

Many Bum Marketers create a MySpace profile for each affiliate product they promote for an extra boost of traffic and affiliate commissions.

USFreeAds: A Complete Waste Of Time?

While many people use USFreeAds to get their ads ranked well in Google, in my opinion it’s a waste of time. People are much more likely to click on a link from an article and take action on it then a link contained in a blatant ad.

Articles are timeless and after writing some on a particular topic, people will consider you as an expert in the field, whereas posting ads will not bring you that status. Since there are better ways to use your Bumming time, I don’t recommend USFreeAds – and besides – it ain’t free.
