Prior to Painting

You will need to prepare the wall prior to painting properly, just like you would do before applying any ordinary kind of paint. Use a sealer to seal off any gaps or cracks in the faint, and fill up the gaps especially around and light or bathroom fixtures. Also, the wall where you are going to apply the paint should be completely dry. You can use a dehumidifier for few days to decrease the humidity levels. This is a good step to follow for basement waterproofing. Having a dry and clean wall will help the paint to adhere properly. Then apply the waterproof paint.

Using them in places where there are many people and children can help maintain clean walls.
