War And Hatred Through A Child's Eyes

I see the soldiers.
I hear the cries.
I smell the terror
I don't know what is happening.
Why do people hate eachother, what's the point in that?
All they're doing is killing eachother, not making the world at peace.
Think of all the families, the children with no parents left.
Think of all the lonely nights, knowing that it might be you one day.
I don't understand, why is it all secret, why don't people tell me anything anymore?
What about all the lies, the secrets the long days of not knowing anything.
Why can't they just all be friends?
Why are people treated differently from others?
Why are soldiers carrying guns around town?
Why are people being taken away?
Why is everyone talking badly about one another?
Through a child’s eyes it is pointless, complicated and secret like some people are hiding something.
But we won't ever know for sure... not everything, but the wars will go on they will never stop.
That's what you see through a child’s eyes.
