Wanting to Forgive

I got in a major fight with one of my closest friends... and as much as I want to run to her and forgive her. I know getting close to her will only bring more pain. She's untrustworthy...
I want to forgive,
But I can't forget,
Each day I live,
Leaves me with regrets.

I made the mistake,
Of letting you go,
And with each breath I take,
The truth reminds me so.

With each moment I held,
All the thoughts in my head,
With our friendship I failed,
And our friendship is dead.

Every moment of memories,
Adding up the connection,
Throwing away the treasury,
To save my eyes reflection.

Amazing how small words express,
Years of friendship set aside,
Your silent glare makes memories refresh,
We have no rules to abide.

Hears shall be broken,
Friendship Destroyed,
But the past is the token,
The fight is the decoy.

Fighting without war,
Speaking without thought,
What can I ask for,
When our past has been forgot.

Everyday brings hopes,
Seldom compromised,
The future being revealed,
Right before our eyes.

Why can we not see,
The pain in our cries,
I keep hoping this will be,
Some secret unknown lie.

Can't this be over,
All the grief in our minds,
Can we not love each other,
Because of a glare hidden in our eyes?
What do you think?
Sucks! Learn to write!
I can relate perfectly
Decent rhyming...
Amazing poem
Another masterpiece!
Not too shabby.
Worst poem!
