Walls

It’s hard to face the reality
We’re surrounded by stumbling blocks
Impediments and antipathy
These are the walls that constrains us

Dispositions and ethnicity
These are the line of reasoning
The wall’s strong point and potency
The root of our disperse and ending

Despite the fact of our differences
You’ve shown respect and loyalty
Greater than words and promises
And accepted the whole thing in me

Then again, the walls built between us
So sturdy that I can’t go through
To be the cause of fights and fuss
Is what I elude for me and you

Even if these walls are insulting
Even if it wounded my heart
My love for you is unchanging
And they can never break me apart

As long as we’re still together
I’ll be strong and change for the better
I’ll fight the pain and strive harder
Even if it takes me forever!
